It would be better if certain levels of renown (every 8th level) increased maximum renown charges and (every 10th level) reduce the charge rate by 10%. 9.0 (15 Max, 15.75hr per), 9.1 (20 Max, 10.33hr per). … 9.2 (25 Max, 6.77hr per) and if 9.3 (30 Max, 4.44hr per).
Those type of recharge rates and quantities would probably absolve players multi-specing or adjusting play styles while keeping their beloved time gate. I honestly haven’t adjusted anything from that tree in about 2 months.
It’s not so much about pressure, just about simple convenience. You have 3 soulbinds, and for a class with 3 specs, that means you can in theory create what are effectively 3 sets of talents, one for each spec (pity about druids). So if me Casual Player is out in the world and wants to switch over to MM to give it a try, it would be great if I could just do that by clicking a button the same way I swap specs.
I’m not asking to swap Covenants, these are all still abilities within your own Covenant which you have access to. If they didn’t want us to swap soulbinds, they wouldn’t give us 3 to choose from. So just damn well let us change them whenever we want, wherever we are.
This locking down of the system makes my teeth ache.
Exactly. In fact, a casual players is possibly more likely to do it, to play around with their character just for the fun of it. Fun is good. Restriction for no logical reason are not fun.
Nah, the alternative is just removing conduits from the game and giving all classes 7% more vers baseline.
Conduits are boring, restrictive, overly complicated, and they don’t make sense in the lore.

Yep remove them.
They could have saved themselves months of development time if they just didn’t add them in. Glyphs were even more interesting/powerful than some of the conduits we currently have.

To be fair, I mentioned that the only people that defend it were on RP realms. I didn’t say all players on RP realms defend conduit energy.
Man it’d just be better if we scrapped conduit energy completely.

It wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t “cap out” on renowned. I guess if they made it so there was still a cap but completing content that would have rewarded you with renowned still triggered the reset? Then you could sort of bank when you turn in those quests to maximize your conduit energy return.

It just sounds like people trying to cheat a system that is garbage on paper.
Like the reluctance to drop this system honestly makes me believe they are planning on selling conduit top ups on the shop to finally embrace all aspects of F2P games.
