What did you have to do in WoD to be raid ready? Keep up with your legendary ring questline and you were set, gg. Assuming you were a raider of course, start of xpac you had to dungeon farm but after raids opened all you had to do was raid and do your quests and you were golden.
This goes back to implementation again, like what I tell people who want player housing. The idea you have in your head for what player housing will be like in wow probably isn’t what Blizz would add.
When people say “I want x content” they aren’t just asking for the existence of x they have an idea of what they want x to be and if Blizz gives them y then they’ll complain. Just like with Valor, (I’m guessing) people wanted the MoP valor system, you get valor from everywhere and can upgrade all gear but that’s not what Blizz implemented so people complain.
Make putting in actual effort in the game irrelevant to progression and I will unsub immediately.
Obviously, I’d prefer if people like you would just quit playing an MMORPG as a Single Player game, then whining about it.
It’s fine to play that way on it’s own, but when you start getting entitled about it and wanting changes made to put that on an equal playing field with the people progressing through the hardest content, it becomes clear you’re playing the wrong genre. Sorry.
Nah loot shooters best gear is pretty much a setup that can take an enemy mob from 100 to 0 the quickest and in most cases a whole group of mobs from 100 to 0 the quickest. Most of this gear doesn’t come from the hardest content in the game but from all sources of gameplay .
Hard content in these games is like look brah I did it now bow down to your overload. Wow is like you said it has specific mountain ranges I just conquered and named my mountain Rage Mountain
If M+ was as simple as just joining a group and doing it, I’d like M+ more.
But the real experience is spend half an hour or more finding a group or finding people to join your group, then having to start over if anyone leaves.
M+ is terrible to me. Not for the content itself but for the accessibility of it. I just want to pick up the game and play it, not waste all this time around it trying to even get in.
Let me just game without always having to depend on personal interactions. Hell, Ion even said M+ isn’t designed for PUGs.
The content might be great, but I’ll never know because it absolutely sucks to even try and get into. Sadly there’s nothing to enjoy without doing this.
I am also solo player. 0 friend on bnet and no guild other than my own but I am 235+ full gear was before same way. Always out geared QQ ers such as yourself.
Actually, I’ve only been personally targeted once during a run. Seems like a high percentage of them have that one toxic guy who constantly insults everyone in the party as a whole. That one guy who targeted me kept whispering me to stop using my demon(s) and fight the boss myself. I was on my Demonology Warlock at the time. Some people suck, but I think a little encouragement might be better than just insulting them. Okay, I am garbage at PvP. I fully admit that. I am not the best in raid/etc situations because I don’t do them. I was good back in Wrath, because I did do them then. I will never be an elite player, but I’m not the worst either.
Just want to point out - even though casuals may outnumber elitists, Blizzard measures each customer based on MAU and Revenue per player - and casuals fail hard at both of these metrics.
So technically there’s no way they should even listen to casuals.
This is how it should be and it would feel more like an MMO instead of instance craft.
Yea this is literally the dumbest thing people say. This is a gear based game, you don’t play it too get bad gear. You play it to get BiS regardless of the activities you choose. If you don’t get BiS gear it’s like you never played or completed your character. The fun and game starts when you got BiS gear.
Definitely not true. This game wouldn’t come anywhere close to surviving without the majority of it’s player base which are casuals. We are starting to see that now with Subs around 1.2 to 1.6 mil. Most of the player base left and the remaining casuals aren’t far behind.
Doesn’t matter what you call on what, it is the truth, and I say this as a casual solo’er. I do not need the best gear to complete the content that I do. Neither do you.
