Yes, the time spent defending quarry and then stalking the glaives really hurt me on the scoreboard. I need to discipline myself to always stay in the team fights.
It was 22 million + 30 million + 14 million + 21 Million + 17 million + 20 million + 14 million. All spread out amongst Ally hunters. The enemies only have so much HP. If you pull 50 million in a single BG then you’re just pulling from someone else’s overall damage.
Unfortunately for the enemy team’s warlocks, they can’t do damage while sitting in the GY after getting sniped by multiple hunters from over 60 yards away.
Sniper shot needs to be removed from the game. I say this as someone who is currently playing their MM hunter. With the mastery already giving you a slight range increase, there’s no reason why MM needs to hit so hard and be able to do it from a range that grants them impunity.
In BGs, it is overpowered. I don’t have a lot of experience with it in arena, but it hits decently hard. You can probably get away with it in low MMR, but other options are just better like the stun (even though it takes 4 globals). It needs to be removed because of BGs, not arena. I don’t imagine it’s taken much in arena, so its loss really would not matter to MM hunters in that area of PVP.
The damage is just one part of it, being able to do your rotation from 50+ yards away with impunity is pretty whacky. You can kill a lot of people before they have time to react or do anything to mitigate your damage.
