She has been doing this for a year. That is what makes this so frustrating. She does not want to quit the game, but cant seem to get any relief from this. As it is showing in some of the comments, players like the one she is dealing with are not uncommon, as ppl seem to have the same vile mentality that she did something to deserve this. Sad this is the community these days.

There were a lot of them yesterday.
Think about this for a minute, if this was really an issue, youād have hundreds of random spam mails from gold farming sites, boosters, gold for services, etc. Why donāt you? Because if they get reported, the account gets banned.
Soā¦ if blizzard isnāt doing anything (very unlikely, or there are circumstances you arenāt telling us), then have her file a police report. If everything is credible enough, theyāll follow up with Blizzard and get a much more escalated response than any GM is capable of.

Yeah. My post on it just got moderated. So that means there are CMs on the forums right now and they ARE ignoring this thread! With an ACTUAL issue.
They are IGNORING someone with an ACTUAL issue and is reaching out. Itās disgusting.
The reaction the emails are getting from the player and guildmates are what keeps this going. If the player just deleted the emails quietly and didnāt comment about them to anyone the emailer would lose interest.
A CM is not the same as a GM

In a heartbeat, absolutely. I donāt talk to people, so this would never happen to me, but Iād rather not have to deal with constant threats than play a video game

Lookā¦ its like this. The reason why the report on the mailbox doesnāt work because itās only one person reporting them. You need multiple reports for a person to be silenced. And reports add up. they also diminish from person to person over time.
And those reports need to be from different people in order to add up to a silence.
Depends on the personā¦ some people are obsessed, so ignoring them will only push them further / to other avenues.
I seriously doubt blizz is ignoring it. If it has continued for that long, then either it has been spurred on by the recipient, or there is something else that isnāt being conveyed here.
Iāve reported people who have made IRL threats in-game, both in WoW and OW. Both had actions taken by GMs within a day, and it was a one time thing.
