Advertise your services like the rest of the people do. How is it that 99 percent of the player base is screwed over with the new crafting. Seems to me you say things like that to justify to yourself that it’s okay you are so upset over a game.
I got 100 alchemy before doing any work orders. I just had to spend enough points to get the advanced experiments. And don’t tell me it was easy. I had to do dozens of experiments that put my spell on CD for 2/4 hours after a few tries.

As usual another conspiracy theory from murdercarpet. Nothing to do with bots. It’s because no one does public orders because no one wants to trust that they get the right rank and not some crappy low level rank of an item. That’s why there are no orders to fill. Go advertise and stop theorizing daddy blizzard hurting you.

Money is money. And bots have been doing it for years through the sheer volume of small amounts of money. So it’s not 10k per…but if you’re pulling 10g/5g/100g/etc. across enough, it’s not going to matter. You’ll pull ahead via sucking down anything.

If you desperately need to defend daddy blizzard to the point where you can’t accept mere conjecture… Are you ready to tell us that there are no bots in the game, that there never have been and never have bots been used in the AH to cancel scan or advertise carries in trade chat on level 1’s?

However this will work if your sole goal is to truly max out the profession and walk away. I would question what the point is, but I guess given this thread, these people do exist.
Ok. In this case then, KP is your bottle neck and not really profession skill. So just keep at profession weeklies and you will get there.
If you royally screwed up and locked yourself out of the tree entirely, then yeah you may need to rely on trade barking and/or camping work orders to unlock the bow tree. At which, point I would recommend supplementing grinding out renown or ah for more recipes.
I agree. This is a fair criticism of the system. Believe me, I have many. This isn’t really what this thread is about.
Well no, you can go the renown route if the AH ones are unrealistic.
The game has been out for a month. That is quite a lot of “few hours” at a times.
Most of the renowns have some sort of grindable gains.
Not sure what your point is. What is your rush? If you only play for a few hours at a time anyways, you are going to be super far behind in just about every measurable metric from someone who plays all the time.
You need to set some realistic expectations for yourself.
I absolutely agree with this. They could’ve done a lot more to make the system clearer. Starting, but not limited to, the terrible ui. I have a post about this in the PTR in the hopes they do something about it.
But I won’t. By the time that happens, the bow won’t be relevant for use any longer.
That’s the point. But if I could re-allocate KP and get more skill ups (re: crafting orders exist and work)…then I can craft my bow.
Eventually is not the answer. It’s an answer. But not one that directly, and in a timely fashion, addresses the question.

For which you have to get to a certain renown (centaur is 6 or 7?) to realistically participate in. I don’t count the random trophies btw…very little and too few to really farm.

You get a head-start on the 4 renown factions just by getting rep from leveling.
If it’s an alt, you have a massive head-start because of the double/triple rep bonuses. My 2nd character has way higher rep than my 1st, for just that reason.
That’s nonsense. There weren’t even any complete guides at the start; what was out there was incomplete and contradictory.
I still can’t find a guide that mentions that Meat Carving in the Skinning tree doesn’t even do anything (it doesn’t!). I have max points sunk into it. Do I wish Blizzard has shipped a finished product? Sure. Is it a big deal that I’m down 40 points in a skill dump that doesn’t even work? Not really.

I have filled a JC crafting order and my JC is still 67 and started the knowledge late. I am going to bet you check once or maybe twice daily and expect 100s of orders to be just sitting there - that doesn’t happen unless most people don’t have a pattern.

Not quite how it works. You at least still have to do the into quest line to dragonflight. I know because on my hunter alt I couldn’t just port over there from sw.
I agree. Should of never become a core thing but a side thing people could use. They do it constantly in fear of no one using it but with how they structured the system, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people were still clueless on what it is for and how to use it.

When you do it on one fully or w.e. My alts can now port straight to Valdrakken and be on their way with the main campaign as well as world quests etc…
I have the story done and when I first get on my alt and haven’t been to dragon isles the portal is not available for them.
I’ve done it this way for all my lvl 60 alts. They’ve had no issue and didn’t need to do any intro. It was a bug for some people’s alts. Don’t know what to tell you.
If it’s a known bug why are you arguing with me? maybe say that from the start next time? understandable why you struggle with crafting after seeing how you operate.
Seeing as you didn’t understand the complaint to begin with in my crafting thread then it’s you that is struggling. I just tried to correct you that you don’t need to do the intro on alts to use the portal. Then I try to see what is up and try to be helpful.
