They are wrong then. But I haven’t seen anyone say that
That is also quite true. I won’t fight that.
Mostly about whatever the outrage topic of the week is and then hating on multiboxers. I’ve yet to see an overabundance of threads covering the front page in regards to cosmetic items.
In fact it’s more money since there is a premium slapped ontop of the base fee.
No, just extra stuff that doesn’t fit into the “lore”.
Then you don’t really pay attention because most topics are always about new customization, new races and so on.
Hey art is subjective. To some it is gross and garbage to others it is not both opinions are valid depending on the person viewing it.
God forbid artists want a full-time job instead of starving between commissions.
Not to mention how coveted that job is among artists.
What alternate dimension are you living in? Because this is 100% false, had some other dude try to say they will use the money to improve the game on another thread. That isn’t where the money is going and everyone knows it.
Sprites are in lore and a reason for someone dressing like one could be thought of very easily, i think you’re just trying to justify greedy business practices by making it about the artists
the mog set looks like a nightborn pride parade costume
No, i mean that they probably just shrug it off so the way you’re freaking your position is inaccurate.
And yeah “this sucks lolzorz!!” is not real critique, but it’s also a very reductive generalization of much more detailed, valid and pertinent feedback.
Oh, you see my confusion, though, when you make a point about how…
Only to follow up on it about it how it has “nothing” do about money… Because you clearly thought it had something do with it when you mentioned it.
Also, the outrage isnt over the art, it’s over more stuff in store that could’ve been ingame. And using it as a means to lock people into subs to pad quarterly numbers while they flail trying to fix the mess they’re making with shadowlands.
In future, you may want to take the time to read your posts to make sure they get across the point your trying to make. And to make sure what you say is at least close to factually right.
As far as I see, you’ve failed to hit the mark on what people are upset about.
I don’t know, I don’t work for Blizzard. For some companies it does, for some it doesn’t. But either way, they got paid for making the set.
No.
And I’m sorry that you pity them (you must have a very empty life indeed to be worrying so much about the gainfully employed to begin with), but I outright reject the notion that someone who attends a 2-year trade school to learn to piece wire meshes together, or blend digital color palettes, only to spend their entire careers taking orders on what to craft is somehow an artist.
Independent work is art; commissioned work is art. Wage work - wage work without any spark of individual creativity - isn’t art, and they aren’t artists.
This is the grossest opinion I’ve read today. Congrats on being a horrible bigot.
A better term might be Graphic designers
How do you know? Do you work for Blizzard? Or are you saying I’m wrong about my own experiences?
This is the problem, not the art… not the item but the fact that unless you spend real cash you are locked out from it. I hate how this new generation is so used to MTX in video games they just go “lol well buy it”. It wasn’t so long ago that games included loot you earned not bought.
