Which is really the meat of the matter.
Cailia is basically looking to sign up with the people that burned Tyrande’s people alive because “She thinks she can help them” as if Tyrande and the Alliance haven’t tried to let that play out multiple times at this point.
Calia may have good intentions…
But let’s be honest, it won’t matter when so much of the Horde council “still” thinks that war with the Alliance was teh correct path.
The Horde council as a whole sent Thrall to apologize on their behalf in Shadows Rising.
Sure.
That doesn’t stop what I said being true. They had the entire argument about it, with Rokhan and Talanji being aggro over Proudmoore and Kul Tiras, even baine saying the Zandalari would have their justice. (That does not, note, mean Baine is pro war. He could have been talking about other forms of justice than through war)
Good intentions don’t matter anymore. Unless Calia keeps her mouth shut, she will face death at the hands of Tyrande Whisperwind.
And look how that turned out. Thrall’s apology was rejected. He didn’t want the night elves to seek vengeance against the Horde Council, which is why he made the empty promise of bringing Sylvanas’ head. All he did was give them Sira Moonwarden.
Baine may have been suggesting that they have Jaina stand trial for what happened on Zandalar.
The Horde’s apology wasn’t rejected exactly. Tyrande just said she wouldn’t accept it until the Night Elf people truly believed the Horde had changed, which was a tall order, given what Tyrande expected it would take for them to believe it. Though the Horde going after Sylvanas was a convenient out, given they were going to any way.
We all know the night elves, except for Shandris, will refuse peace with the Horde. Once Tyrande has killed Sylvanas, she’ll target the Horde leaders.
There are already Night Elves in game, soldiers in Boralus, that are saying they are done with the war and ready to stop fighting.
Hey, Calia! I hear Tyrande really likes friendly, chatty people. And she’s a little deaf, so you’d better speak loudly!
That’s incorrect. The war may be over, but the fighting hasn’t stopped.
That supposed to be a joke?
Only half.
That is not incorrect, he is stating a fact that is true, Some night elf NPCs have that specific dialogue about being tired of fighting in this war.
These rpers are getting boring and one note.
I think that’s the point.
Which is fair.
lord god do I hope so.
…
This is literally broadcast text.
Which is idiotic. You cannot blame someone who had no hand in the events at all/could not have know things would turn out the way they did. If the Alliance(and in particular Tyrande) wantedto blame her they would have to accept they were willing to go along with working with the Horde in Dalaran to fight the Legion.(which caused Jaina to leave).
She could have known.
