I don’t think I would ever play another MMO, but as soon as I stopped playing WoW, I just moved on to another game, single players or some competitive multiplayer ones.
Definitely not putting myself on another hamster wheel.

Everyone I played Ff14 with was running dps meters and logs.
Honestly I think it’s just a very vocal minority of people against dps meters. Most raid guilds I’ve seen will run logs on raid night.

It wasn’t really for me either. I gave it a good try amd do like some aspects of it but it just isn’t it.
GW2 has captured my attention atm. Going for map and living world completion. I recommend that game as a wow alternative. I wouldn’t consider it a wow clone but I think that is why I like it.

in my previous FC we did a questionnaire for jobs and surprisingly 70-80% were running paladins 
go figure. the problem is not that people don’t play the jobs, is just roulettes get soooo boring after a while to even bother with them
