2021 the year FF14 tried to make a move on WoW and ultimately failed.

i donât really mind, it doesnât usually slow down a run too much and iâd rather those tanks gain some confidence so they can get proficient in the role, personally. nothing worse than hearing people say they quit tanking and switched to dps because other players 
on them so much
i have a much bigger problem with people who queue up as tank and have no intention of actually tanking, so we all either stand there staring at the boss for 5 mins while we wait on one of them to give in and turn tank stance on, or someone gets mad and just pulls for them and the rest of us play hot potato with the boss until we wipe
Naw dude, one of the most triggering things for me in the modern-day game is the pathing. Randomly getting stuck behind⌠air??? while running on your mount. HHnnnnggggGGGGggg 
But its still a triple a product with no faults at all!
unfortunately the only thing carrying wow at the moment is the art and music team imo, except for whoever decided to remove the tier set appearances going into bfa, that just deleted my motivation to play and collect it on alts
i donât know how true this is but FF14 hasnât tried to copy wow and most MMOs that try to copy wow see swtor as an example, literally copy paste wow with SW paint and there is pvp itâs just⌠really weird but fun.
Yessssssss, I remember the invisible walls on literally everything and itâs still apparent in current day time, âWHY CANT I FIT IN THISâ âŚor âWHY CAN I FIT IN THIS DESPITE IT BEING TOO SMOLâ
World of Warcraft definitely has its flaws, bit itâs still a good game no matter what the FF14 advertisers have to say about it.

Syvlanas used to be an awesome character in their story but now itâs like⌠What the actual f@#k? Never in any expansion before Shadowlands have I intentionally skipped literally every cinematic in a patch (9.1), simply because: I donât care anymore. Itâs gotten so confusing and all over the place, itâs too much for me. Skipping the cinematics because I donât care about them makes me feel sadge though, because I used to love any cinematic WoW had to offer.
Sylvanas could kill any FF14 character.

They do the best they can. However when your competing in the F1 with a mini you stand no chance. Yet the shills still call it amazing despite its dated look.

I was questionable and partially liked Sylv in wc3, didnât really care for her much in WoW cause I was more of an Arthas fanboy myself and I thought his character concept was infinitely cooler than Slyvanus. I watched the raid completion cinematic and it just makes zero sense as to why they wouldnât execute her for all of her actions and leading up to it.
i donât think sheâd be able to defeat primals or an Ascian which are technically unkillable without some type of special crystal thingamajig

Every time in the past I felt bored with WoW, and tried some other game, it wasnât long before I came back. Nobody can touch Blizzardâs polish.

Wait till 10.0 when good old sylv becomes the supreme leader and we all must wear badges with her face on and bow at the many statues of her.
I tried FF14 for awhile. The idea that one toon could be any class was interesting but you have to re-start and do all the quests over again so it really is the same as rerolling- kind of an illusion that it isnât. And it made me feel like my character had no identity of its own. If I could be anything- whatâs the point of anything?
The community was nicer and less toxic. I got told helpful suggestions when I made a mistake rather than being bullied for it. That part I kinda liked.
I donât like how the combat or battles flowed though. WoWs seem better, more fluid or something. The main story quest was also tedious and incredibly boring to me. I just couldnât go through with it. There was also this one quest where I think I walked back and forth the same spot like 5 times. It was pretty bad- although WoW has quests like that. For some reason it felt worse there though.
I prefer the aesthetics of WoW better. Many areas were just too plain or something. I also wasnât that crazy about the races. Something about them seemed uninspired.
This was like way back in 2015 or something idk how much they really changed.

Even the little things like the armory and the forum experience, this game is unmatched. I think itâs cute that FF14 advocates think itâs better than WoW, theyâre entitled to their opinion though.

the main flaw with ff14 is the extremely slow start to the MSQ at ARR imo, itâs basically hoping whoever you try to get into it wonât quit before the first part of the game introducing every single char is over.
thatâs the true trial, surviving ARR, i havenât done it since they changed it but I hate replaying story honestly
