In what world is it better than Argus? Lmao.
i haven’t made it through the initial quest chain for it yet, just didn’t drag me in story wise i guess. I’ve been playing a roguelike called Tales of Maj’eyal lately, interesting in how much fun class gameplay and design can matter more over visuals.
I guess Alts are a myth, huh?
“It’s just beta, give it time”
“It’s just launch, give it time”
“It’s just the first raid tier, give it time”
…
This expansion has had plenty of time to convince the player base - and it’s quite probably past the halfway mark in what it’s going to be able to deliver to us. Whatever players are seeing right now (and for the past few months), whether they like it or not, is what they’re going to be getting, and the only thing “more time” does is gets us closer to the next, hopefully better expansion.
The comment I should have said next.
Seems like it’s been a World of WaitCraft. And we thought that timegating was bad. You cut off one head of the hydra, and…
Benthic gear is terrible unless you dump all of your pearls into them. Then they just barely replace stuff you got from touching Darkshore once.
No queue or quest for Heroic Warfronts.
Nazjatar is designed vertically, which benefits flying only, and punishes ground mounts, that is, all of us.
Mobs are everywhere, impossible to dodge them even in stealth. Surprisingly difficult mobs.
Finding quests is difficult. Find quest items is more difficult. Quests are still ‘collect 100 bear asses’ types.
Inventory fills up with pointless non-quest non-vendorable greens for summoning no-reputation bosses.
No dungeon, no raid. No way to farm rep.
AP grind not at all resolved. Essences are nigh unusable because you still need to do the terrible AP grind.
So far the only thing they’ve done right was making most armor pieces moggable to be invisible, and adding a couple neat Mechagon mounts. Oh, and the jetpacks. Because then we can fly.
Not enough content. At least Argus kept me playing after the wq
It’s so much more than that. Playing Horde on Sisters of Elune we have grps of allie players grabbing us left right and center just to level up
Really? I think my Goblin glider has something else to say about that.
My pile of used up goblin gliders had a lot to say about that. It benefits flying so much that I used all of them just to get the damn flight paths safely.
Can we just start unpruning buttons please? bring back old talent trees. remove specs. Balance every tuesday or so.
done.
Hey, I’m not saying BfA doesn’t have issues, it very clearly does. What gets me is a major patch launching and 5 minutes later people are on saying how bad it is. It takes time to assess all aspects of the gaming and the entirety of the patch isn’t even out yet.
I like to take a bit of time before dissing something like a Patch. Now, putting a unique mount in the store while offering recolour gryphons at huge gold prices in game, that I can seriously get aggro about straight up…
I think they really messed up by not making the focus of this patch class changes. I think I would have been much happier with just Nazjatar and more class changes. In every single past expansion whenever I didn’t really care for a patch I would just play some alt’s for a bit, or maybe do some tanking if I had been dps’ing only, but now every class is so boring outside of raiding. They design the rotation around what’s fun for a 10 minute encounter while any combat outside of that just feels super clunky.
I didn’t even know Nazjatar was some special place to the Naga. I wouldn’t even know if I didn’t read this.
How long ago did the sea come crashing down on this place? It’s too bad they remember how to be jerks, but can’t remember how to swing a hammer or work a broom to clean the place up.
Or is that surface-dweller-privilege?
I like it. It’s just both zones should be connected and bigger. A lot bigger. And more rares! A lot more rares!
There are probably billions of Naga.
The US has several major cities, many small cities and many towns. China has many large cities. A population doesn’t live in a single city and nowhere else.
Just because Azshara doesn’t live there doesn’t mean that none of the other Naga do.
This is the worst analogy ive ever heard lol.
Major disappointment. Zones, quests, and mobs all even more annoying than BFA.
