I'm not conspirationist but the whole FF14 thing

Next week we get more endgame content, this is early-expansion content right now. 4 new savage raids next week which won’t be easy to say the least for example.

At least they fixed itemization. I pvpd towards the end of BFA and it was crap

It gets better after lvl 50 and when you go into expansion zones. Early areas are slow indeed but its honestly worth it for all the build up later on. Everything in the story reaches a peak from all your past actions in SB and EW.

he’s talking about leveling and 50/60/70/80 roulettes. Old dungeons can come up, even the very first one.

Yes. I know.

It still is too little content. Max we can expect on an entre expansion is 12 savage bosses and maybe if lucky an ultimate fight (which getting a group for is next to impossible)

i have heard people said Pvp was really good in 9.0

Funny thing is that FFXI also had relatively small instanced zones but the scope and danger made them feel huge and epic. Gameplay systems affect how you perceive things more than the zones themselves.

To annoy people who want to know why he’s still here. :smirk:

Hello, I see you replied to my post. Half your skill bar? For WoW players, that should be right up their alley! I mean, considering half the classes barely use anything beyond 4 or 5 buttons!

Thanks for your post and have a great day!

It’s very difficult for people to admit that FF is giving people what wow won’t anymore.

Wow is a game where infinite difficulty and everything in between exists. Gearing is rarely every “finished” unless you’re running your 10 +15s, heroic/mythic raid, and/or higher end pvp until the RNG vault decides you’re finished. For some people this could be fairly quick, for others it may never happen during a patch. It’s a treadmill or hamster wheel or whatever you want to call it. That’s all it is anymore. The devs have stripped wow of everything except the end game grind. For some that’s enough.

So how is it keeping people engaged if there’s nothing to do at max level?

Completely agree OP. This is a fact a lot of the FF cultists don’t like to hear, but Shadowlands outsold Endwalker. By a lot.

Hello, I see you replied to the thread. Cyberpunk outsold Shadowlands by a lot but we all saw how that went!

Thanks for your post and have a great day!

This thing that FF14 caters so much to casuals… it’s a pile of bull. I have played that game, a lot (far too much). I know.

Hello, I see you replied to the thread. Guess it’s a good thing that there is no real definition of the term “casual.” Your comment is 100% meaningless as a result.

Thanks for your post and have a great day!

I just don’t care for the aesthetics and sentimentality that is presented in eastern RPG’s. I tried to get into Anime so many times but it’s just not for me. The only Anime that I watched all the way through was Cowboy Bebop and that’s because it’s basically a reimagined Western.

Literally every expansion in WoW has not had the raid available with the first patch from day 1. It’s always taken a few weeks for the raid to become available, in order to give folks time to level through the expansion proper and not feel like they have to rush to get to the endgame asap.

That doesn’t change the fact that the raid launched with that patch though, since there wasn’t another one that opened it up.

So yes, Castle Nathria did release with 9.0

Even then, literally nothing you just worked for months to earn lasts into the next tier. You have to farm the same exact item at a higher item level. Item level needs to be done away with and they need to find a new way to make difficulties rewarding.
