The allied race system was a horrible idea. Should have just been normal races at launch. Blood Elf/Draenai quality starting zones and all. The longer WoW goes, the more it feels like a FTP.

I didnt know getting from 1-120 in 4 days was “Instant gratification”. Go to my character and let me know about “Instant Gratification”. You talk with no context. And you think the game is going to be better without more subs? good luck with that! I’m not the only one in this thread that unsubbed. And I certainly wont be the last. Games should be fun, and challenging. Grinding the same idiotic zones day in and out is not a challenge. It’s for people with no life.

I mean the npc’s don’t even acknowledge you. You help save the world and the universe and it feels like no one cares that you did a heroic thing. There is a difference. You can still be a hero saving the world but it kinda breaks your desire to be a hero when no one cares. Even being exalted it feels like npc don’t even acknowledge your existance.

Just like when you are in that underworld and Sylvannas makes that deal with whats her face. Then she goes “My hero” and then proceeds to say glhf, find your own way out. It’s not about game mechanics at that point. It’s BAD WRITING AND DESIGN. What? She was really okay leaving me in that pit of filth to find my own way out when I was crucial to her entire plan? LOL WHAT?

That fun is subjective. Your idea of fun is not the same as mine.
Again, that is your opinion. This game has vastly more qol than it has in the past or compared to other mmo’s. When this game launched, it was considered the most casual. Check out Eve and see how long some researches take for example.

The allied race system they have in place now is straight out of FTP games. Combined with race changes and ect, and it is just a more sophisticated version of your regular FTP.

Management and investors are all morons if they put any value in any playtime metrics these days. Perhaps those metrics had value back in BC, before middle management and the devs figured out how to artificially inflate them.
Whoever said it is bang on - long term it’ll kill the game. Short term it gets your low IQ bosses off your back because “engagement” or play time went up. Nevermind that it’s not an objective measure, because the majority of the playtime is people doing content they’re forced to.
Probably all bonus or KPI driven, like most undesirable corporate behaviour is.

I was interested in the game just to try out the new races. Not grinding 2 weeks to unlock them.I just wont even play the game. Seriously just unlock them all or let me pay $20 to unlock them.
To those that did it legit give them a special armor set or something IDC. Blizz come on just let us all have all the races.

For three months there was a +15% bonus to all reputations. A little over a week ago the Darkmoon faire was up and giving +10% bonus reputation gains, the World quest event that gave +50% reputation gains was up, then you have the inscription items that gain +10% bonus XP with that particular rep.
If you did all the research which based on what you wrote, sounds like you knew a lot of what to expect coming into it.
It’s not Blizzard’s fault you didn’t choose to exercise your rights to tons of bonus rep gains.
Sorry you aren’t having fun, me, personally, I’m having a blast.

exactly! Give them a mount or a rare armor that you cant get anywhere else but through exalted with those factions. You can easily separate the hardcore and casuals and keep both happy!
