I am in the same boat, except with diaper gnomes. Not going to dignify that mistake with my participation. I did all of those silly grinds and I think they should be unlocked for everyone that purchased the expac and they should be unlocked on day 1. It’s a great way to get some fresh blood into the game if people can play something new without jumping through months of trickle feed time gated BS because we have creatively bankrupt leadership at blizz.

I remember that happening pretty often. Flight wasn’t cheap and people were really bad at managing gold.
Lots of people hit 70 and had to keep running everywhere for quite a while.
When I got fast flying back in TBC a couple random people whispered me asking if I bought gold!
Many players had/have very little gold relative to the current expansion.
yeah i think people have forgotten how hard it was to obtain the 700ish gold required, after you paid for class training.

I’m with OP here, i resubbed for the new patch only to realize its just another dull grind to try and be competitive and normally that’s fine, like im willing to do the grind ONCE on my main, but when i decide to play an alt i have to literally do everything on them too? Level the neck, get essences and level those, level the cloak.
I thought Legion was alt unfriendly but this expansion is even worse bravo blizzard! If they’re not going to respect my time then im not going to pay them so i can keep using their treadmill. Plenty of non MMORPG games to catch up on anyways. I’ll resub for the next expansion, no not shadowlands, TBC. 
wtf does any of this have to do with pokemon you child lol. i don’t want to be on that level I’m not 7 years old anymore. how is unlocking a allied race a 'wait" and not a “grind” you have to do all the required things to unlock it by grinding out rep and such. you literally are making no sense. but good glad your quitting, nobody needs to hear a cry baby talk about how they want things without working for them because they pay for a game like everyone else and want all the new stuff just handed to them. 'oh no i cant play a allied race cause i don’t have anything unlocked because I’m lazy, better complain on the forums and tell ppl I’m quitting the game" when 80% probably already have all this stuff unlocked from just doing basic questing throughout the duration of bfa, peace out kid
The average age of Pokemon Gamers is 35, just saying. And we have people in guild who are children playing WoW. So not sure what you want to say about all that either. A true grind is one that you do start to finish without anything stopping you. You barely get up to take a poop. You grind that SOB till it’s done, dead in the dirt. And I said I unlocked the race now, so get with it. This game has nothing in it I cant conquer. 3 120’s in 2 weeks, plus an 88, 62, a and a few 30’s and 40’s. Again all in that time frame. That’s not the point. The point is the game advertised allied races as a selling point. Just like they did with belfs and draenai. And ya your DH was handed to you on a silver platter without being earned. It takes zero effort when you start out at lvl 98. And you sure as %^&* didn’t get a belf through a grind. And BFA grind is time gated. So ya, get on my level because you clearly don’t know what grinding or “work” is. As far as things being handed to me, I grew up on a farm and worked 60 hours a week. What did you do? You would cry from carrying buckets of %^&* with your hands bleeding and blistered more than likely. So don’t even start with me “kid”.

once again nobody cares about your dumb pokemon collection, congrats on your pokemon achievements, maybe itll get you laid one day. yes dh was paid for from legion, doesn’t mean i didn’t level the rest of my characters and unlock the allied races. literally all you have to do is the normal questing zones of bfa and some world quests every once in a while to unlock the stuff u want but your telling everyone that you will quit before you basically ‘play the game’. apparently that’s too much for you tho… does it suck you have to rep grind and do dumb quests to unlock some of the races? sure ya its boring but is it the end of the world to do it for something you actually want? not really, its not hard to do…if u have it unlocked why are you even crying about it on the forum.
So, quick question, if you get your allied races for free, what do you give to those of us who actually grinded them in return ? If I worked for my allied race you shouldn’t get it for free.
If you get it for free I should get something else in return because I invested time and effort in it.

Sorry but you dont have to like pokemon to understand what a grind is and is not. If BFA really had a grind those rep quests would have been unlimited, not locked per 24 hours. The pokemon grind is a credible comparison of how to and not to implement a grind in a dame. You dont have to like one to understand this. You kept saying I want things handed to me when it likely took far longer for me to get a single shiny team with perfect natures and ivs then it did for you to accomplish an feat in this game. Things handed to me. You wanna come on over and be a farm hand? Let’s see if you can last a week. I’ll teach you how to spawn and carry 2 20 lb buckets from one place to the next over and over and over again for a whole shift. Come back to me then about wanting things “handed to me”. This is about false adverts and shady business practices and yet somehow you cant seem to grasp that through your skull.

when it was introduced maybe yall should have voiced your disgust at the false adverts. I got my allied race, still think it should be unlocked with PURCHASE OF PRODUCT for others. Nothing was free. I PAID for it. Did I not work for my money? Why shouldnt Blizzard work for their’s? Oh didnt think about like that. Maybe I can get you and Rivalz out here on the farm and you can tell me about your communist BS then.

Honestly, if you are going to quit… Just quit. No one is stopping you; I get it, you dislike how there are allied races locked behind rep grinding. I get it you want everything handed to you. Honestly; if there weren’t things to work on I would have left a long time ago. I myself am thoroughly enjoying what they have to offer and it keeps me actually interested. Have a good time finding another MMO to play!
i’m still paid up for a while. why not use it till then? And this game could be more. I love the lore so why not try to fix it or voice my dismay? Cant grasp passion either?
