Maybe you are nuts. No such statement was ever made.
The closest we ever got to an actual schedule was Ion saying something along the lines of “it depends on how the playerbase consumes the content”.

You are, move on.
OP you said you have 4 chars at 30+ atleast one of which is 51.
It looks like you have had plenty of time to play. You would’ve been 60 if you focused on one or even two but you’re spreading yourself thin across alts.
I have a 8-4 job. Some days I play around 2-4 hours and some days I don’t play at all and I have a 48 druid and a 59 mage.
The honor system and the world bosses were actually already out by now. If we go by thr original release of the content. This is slower.
There are so many players that cite this as one of the reasons for the current state of Modern WoW. The fact that everyone is given a participation trophy, and no one has a chance to excel.
Then they come to Classic and realize they’re not going to be that guy they wanted to be back in Vanilla. That there’s tens of thousands of more dedicated players than them playing Classic.
That’s when they decide that Blizzard is releasing content too fast.
Agreed, and I think that’s as it should be. The thing is, they will still be ahead. They won’t lose any of that if the content is rolled out at a reasonable pace.
It’s not about catching up. There is no way to catch up to exploiters and speed runners at this point, even if that were the issue. That doesn’t mean the pacing has to be ramped up further. That has never turned out well in the past. It only lead to content droughts. For classic, it won’t be a content lull at the end, it will just be the end.
Lets say they released all content Tuesday, it still wont change how things play out. You will still have to do mc/ony/zg for gear to get to bwl. While raiding bwl you still will do mc/ony for t2 head and pants. Long gaps between raid you might respec to farm hk’s/bgs. Being that gear doesn’t drop as much. Ya you might try to attempt aq20/40 then hit walls. Need more gear and nature resistance. Now your back running bwl or to round out your gear/farming NR gear. I think we see where this is going. Also 99% of us will not clear a raid in 1st week, 95% 2nd week, 90% 3rd week. so on. So slow down breath its going to be ok.
You heard it folks. Come phase 2 everyone below level 60 will be deleted. We fought for it and our dreams are coming true. Death to casuals!!! Return to the energy ball in the sky and never come back!
This is true if your level range of being a HK for a 60 its gg. But we all decided to play on a PvP server. Don’t qq
Which isn’t a problem, we already know the exact end state of classic and once it comes people will either stick around or not. Trying to time gate content won’t change that.
You guys aren’t missing anything tho, diremaul didn’t change anything for me, I was still running BRD and LBRS/UBRS.
Honor system adds honor, you can grind it way early until they add BG’s.
Enjoy the walk man, you won’t be behind until BWL comes out, which probably won’t be till 2020.
Do you want a cookie?
Why can’t you level in P2, btw?
I kinda wish they did some minor re-tuning. But with the knowledge we know it cant be undone. For the people that speed clears thats like hard mode/challenge mode. Also for most thats not even an option. The people that do the speed clears spend a crap ton farming consumable and world buffs. They all are engineering. Who are we to tell them how to play the game they want to play. So play the game you want to play.
why does it matter how fast others are leveling? just enjoy the game
This is an absolutely wasted comment. You should be ashamed.
You HAVE had more than 2 months to level. Phase 2 doesn’t add any content for you anyways.
But the people who don’t know what they’re talking about claimed that Dire Maul would invalidate all the other dungeons?
I’ve run more Scholo and UBRS in the last week than Dire Maul. Need Scholo for Skins of Shadow, need UBRS for attunements, Dal Rend’s; Briarwood Reed and a bunch of other stuff.
Pretty much this. DM jump runs are the only DM I see spammed these days. UBRS/Strat/BRD are still the big three on my server that are getting hammered.
Content releases in classic do not invalidate previous content. Even top players will still be clearing MC when Nax is out. If you want a casual experience just accept that players who put more into the game will be vastly ahead of you. You will still be able to find friends to do relevant content with.
Some people think it is and don’t like the “nerfed” state of things.
Sure it will. They will be gone sooner with rushed out content. In some cases, that might be a good thing.
