Realistically no one will hit this farming bis. The people that do are extreme outliers which while I agree their style of play shouldnt be hindered for this bull, anyone arguing that they are a major reason this change needs to be reverted is not arguing in good faith.
I mean they have to limit themselves to avoid it.

I just wanted to add one more thought to this thead. A lot of people have expressed concerns about getting certain drops.
Savage Gladiator Chain, for example. It has a 6.74% drop rate. This means that with just 66 runs you have a 99% probability of seeing it drop. Of course, you could spend 1000 runs trying for it, but odds are in your favor.
Drops in classic have huge drop rates. Really, youâre looking at a 3 day farm at most if youâre capping instances. This instance cap is not an issue at all, for anyone. If you use it to farm gold, adapt. If you use it to power level your friends, help them quest instead, adapt.
Its not a huge deal at all. It affects cheaters the most. If affects player very little to not at all, and thats including the hardcore pre BiS farmers.

Iâm farming pre bis in dungeons to get into raiding i have 2 days a week i can play for 16-20 on those days as there my days off and all i do is game for them so i have 2 days a week thats 60 instances a week i can on my sever with alts so i canât even play that I can assure you my plans are screwed, that this makes me want to quit and that i will most likely quit as i can justify paying for it now as Iâm locked out after 5 or 6 hour max a day so i get maybe 12 hours a week now then maybe 48hours a month dude im screwed there no way i can raid now

Our community is better than this. Ignore them. Iâm thinking of your life! I want all of us to be able to play the game whenever we are free to do so and have the desire to do so. We have to oppose this as a united front.

if you dont have time to play without abusing instance resets to an extreme degree maybe play another game instead of enabling boxers and botters to use you as camoflauge to poop on the game?

if you are using more than 30 instances a day you are abusing instance resets, as proven by blizzards decision to no longer allow you do to so

10 runs, 50.23% probability
20 runs, 75.23% probability
30 runs, 87.67% probability
My friend, grinding for loot is a part of MMORPGs. You need to recognize this. Iâm sorry you can only play one day a week. I truly am, but you were very unlikely to ever hit the instance cap on ANY item anyway, even playing for 18 hours. Forming a group takes time. Running the instance takes time. Replacing people that leave takes time. MMORPGs take time. You CAN play this game and you CAN make progress. Donât give up, and donât give in to hyperbolic opinions. Try to actually play and see if you ever even come close to reaching 30 resets/day. I think youâll find you have no problems at all. Enjoy.

Okay. Youâll have to work a little harder for that elite item you want. Suck it up. You can do it. It should still not be any longer than a single week of capping instances for most people. If you canât handle a one week farm for an item, what are you doing playing an MMORPG?
