There are people who have done 400+ runs and not gotten SGC.
That’s two weeks of burning your daily 30 on only BRD, meaning you can’t possibly raid with your guild.

i did the math with the instances i have to run for pre bis it will take me most likely around 4 months or more to get PRE BIS for raids with the days i have to play not the amount of time i can play that no longer matters before yesterday is was just the amount of time i played
That seems like you’re worst caseing it. I really don’t think it will take you that long, nor do you really need to have a full pre BiS set. Some pieces, sure, but all? Nobody requires that kind of effort for classic raiding and if they do you’re better off not raiding with them dude.
I thought the point of this thread was to understand why people are upset about the god awful change Blizzard forced upon us.

I don’t think telling someone to give up could be construed as support, no matter how much you try to twist the definition. Support would instead be grouping with the man to try to help him farm, say, SGC. Maybe encourage others on his server to do that if you care about support.

Yes, I understand how wrong people are to think it will affect them. At all. Banti, I will not be replying to any more of your posts. You seem to be a regular person that argues with people around here, and I have no desire to argue with people. I do not engage in discussion to just argue about semantics, what-ifs, worse-case scenarios, made-up situations, etc. The original point of this post has nothing to do with the reply you were talking about. do you know how hard will be to find groups for older dungeons now many wont wanna waste instances on there alts, there’s so many things this affects you are not thinking about maybe it won’t affect you much but dude it’s going to hit the pop in the game hard and in all if you like the game you shouldn’t be supporting them making time gated changes to it and maybe make something that will actually stop bots, if you think this did anything to stop them your wrong it has maybe hurt there profit but they will do it still everyday 30 times then just go do something scripped in the open world after to make more in their down time

Skip all pre bis, go into MC and ZG.
No one is hitting these caps.
Even if you did a dungeon in 20 minutes and had instant resets and zone outs, that’s 10 hours of running dungeons.
Stop exaggerating, you’re not hitting close to that cap a day, not even farming your imaginary pre bis.

Context. He seemed absolutely upset and depressed about the situation. His opinion is that the game is unplayable for him now. Not worth it. It would take him too long to get his gear, he thinks. Furthermore, one can have an intention in the past, and that intention can change as the person he tries to help seems less and less interested in reason. That’s exactly what happened there, and its not an evil thing like you want to make it out to be.
He has one day a week to play. He wants to play an MMORPG. He doesn’t think he can play it anymore. In my opinion, he’ll never get anywhere in an MMO with that kind of attitude.
Classic WoW is not hard. I’ve had to sit through a lot of abuse in this thread. People want to call you all kinds of names and make you into some kind of villain, no matter what you make a post about. Its a part of the WoW forums legacy. People, mostly, come to forums like these to troll. Its why at one point Blizz wanted real names tied to forum posts.
Anyway. For now I’m done here. I’ve provided the information people need to protect themselves from misinformation. We’ve had some discussions, but at this point people are just looking to argue and try to make me into some kind of villain. I’ll check this thread again in the future but I’m done for now. Tata!

I hit that regularly a couple of days each week and I’m not even farming pre-bis. What makes you think otherwise?

30 resets in Gnomer isn’t 6 hours. It’s closer to around two hours, usually less.
