I'm confused why some players are upset about the instance cap

but wow isnt a JOB KAREN! DONT MAKE HIM PUT EFFORT INTO A VIDEO GAME!

As someone who is currently doing the HoJ farm and farming for grave moss in RFD, it really isn’t.

Agreed, it’s their game so they should actually put some work into it instead of going the path of spending little/no money. There is a reason people are leaving, they don’t appreciate the misuse of the money they are paying in order to play the game, not play the game how player X says they should.

Hmm? I never said they were. And it only affects a very niche, select few in my opinion. Barely anyone. But still, if Blizzard could find an alternative of course that would be great. Good luck getting your pre BiS by the way! You can do it!

Imagine thinking a job and 6 hours on wow are the same thing.

It affects a lot more than you say.

I’m sorry. Don’t give up you’ll get it eventually.

5 hours of MC? Oh my!

Guys, I don’t wanna farm my gear or my pre raid bis because that means I have to put effort in this video game, Hence making it a job. I can’t do it

It isn’t really that people are upset about the limit, or how will it will impact them as players (rather than botters/farmers).

I believe it’s because its a total “slap in the face”, a sad half-measure so that they can say ‘see, we are doing something about botters’ rather than actually putting time, effort, money and people behind the scenes taking direct action against the perpetrators. Rather than punishing everyone for the actions of a few.

Report people they say? Seriously? Where is the evidence that those reports make an iota of difference. And if there have been ‘ban waves’ then how about telling us about that. How about giving us numbers of accounts banned. If they can do that in China, why can’t they do it in the US/EU games?

Morale is going down the toilet in Classic and has been for months. This is a bandaid solution for a gushing wound.

Exactly. That’s what I’ve been saying all along. The instance cap isn’t keeping anyone from getting geared, despite the claims to the contrary:

okay but again, do you really think this will have any impact at all on what blizzard says its supposed to do? if anything this will have a negative impact on the economy of the game.

I agree, they did this because of pathing exploits. HOW IS 30 DUNGEONS A DAY FIXING PATHING? EXPLAIN

vocal minority will stomp there feet like after every significant change blizzard implements

instead of voting with their wallets they will just harrass everyone who thinks it was a good change

You’re not wrong! Amen. I just hope that people don’t quit the game over this. Don’t give up! Classic is worth it.

Go farm an SGC and a HoJ, shouldn’t take very long! LMAO

I was being sarcastic.

People who are burning through 30+ instances a day aren’t going anywhere, let’s not pretend.

Dude he wouldn’t do that, that requires effort AKA making it a job…

For sure. Its not a good change, but its not the end of the world either! We can get through this cap together, as a community. We’ll find a way to make our gold no matter what we have to do, right?
