Nobody makes 30 attempts at loot in a given day. Nobody. Groups disband after one attempt with randoms. Most friends burn out after 2-3. If you can solo, it takes time. I’m just not seeing it.

Nope. You just have to be willing exploit the game to get a drop that was intended to require time and effort for no time and little effort. Now Blizzard is forcing you to take a little more time. As originally intended.

It doesn’t have to impact the majority of players for it to be a bad change. This isn’t addressing the primary issue - bots.
If they’re worried about the hardcore gold farmers, then a different change would work. This hurts people farming gear too.

Would you care to describe a given day where you farmed an item 30 times and failed to get it? How did it go? Who did you go with? How long did people stick around? How long did it take to replace people? If you soloed, what class were you and how long did it take? Etc.

SGC. You underestimate how rare it is. Also, you can go with guildies.
The issue is that raids aren’t exceptions, so you can’t farm SGC the same day you raid - which is often on days off for people.

You’re right of course, I just don’t think people should be quitting the game over this. I made this post to highlight for those not affected by it - most people in my opinion - that its not as scary a change as the hype makes it out to be!
You have to imagine that because it hasn’t happened in this thread.
