Spoke to a really kind GM about this a few minutes ago who popped in game and visually confirmed the bug with me! They got to looking and found that there is an internal report and that it is being worked on already and said they were going to add our interaction into the report.
Still an issue as of 11/28/2019.
Iām thankful Blizzard sold me a broken enchant they have not made any effort to fix.

This bug has still not been fixed yet?! I decided to pay for the Epic edition package only for this illusion. At first I didnāt receive the illusion in my collection, I had to make 2 tickets, first one they told me I have it, but I clearly did not. Second one they told me to wait 24 hours and I should receive itā¦ then next day I finally had it in my collection, to find out its bugged and it disappears after I use Fel Rush or Immolation aura on my DH. I read this post and this bug has been out for an entire month?
Blizzard fix this crap or you better refund me. freaking hell.

I wish the Cincinnati Zoo put Harambe in a Dodge Ram with a 5 star safety rating instead of 6 feet in the ground

This is happening with Ghost Wolf on my shaman too. It just appears as a normal wolf and Wraithchill doesnāt show up until I relog. Reequipping doesnāt work when it bugs out sometimes.
Step 2
The weapon illusion you receive from the preorder is glitchedā¦in a few ways. When I mog it to my weapons, its stays until I go into combat. Almost immediately the illusions completely disappears until, I relog or port somewhere then it comes back. The other problem with that is that sometimes in the character select screen, the illusion looks different than what it appears in the game. On the select screen, the weapon is much more transparent and āghost-likeā (in my opinion much better appearance than what is in the game), which is a solid blue. If you could somehow make it the more ghost-like appearance all the time and not have it go away when I enter combat, that would fix everything.
The thing where itās solid blue in game is something I havent been able to reproduce. On my game the character select screen and what it looks like in game are virtually identical, I play on max settings though
On 8.3 ptr, there are two similar illusions added in the game, I saw a post on reddit
One already can be found in ptr. It has the same effect as Wraithchill, which tints the whole weapon, only the colour changed to purple. So, I guess we wonāt be able to see any change before next patch released.
What is the other color?
Only the purple one we can see on ptr. I can google void edge ptr. And see the one from reddit

Nor I. Iād be shocked if this is fixed before 2020.
@Dullahan - Iāve only ever been able to see it as transparent in that character screen. Iāve tried it on all settings and cleared my cache too. Only thing I havenāt tried is a fresh install.
Literally a full month has passed.
Itās still broken.
This is bordering on pathetic.
(Sidebar: I also sure love how using the preorder transmog makes my character look naked on the Forums. Ten-outa-ten. Top quality.)

12/3/19 - illusion issue still persists. This has been at or near the top of the ābugsā section for officially OVER a month and still no blue post or any fix to this.
pretty pissed off about it now.

Strange. Mine definitely has the same effect on both the character screen and in the game when itās functioning properly. I donāt know how to help you. Might be best to open a separate bug report to see if others are experiencing it
