Ignore the forums

That is a good point, how could I have missed it? They should have just made the community mount based on metrics rather than run us through that useless farce of a poll.

And then you can have $1! Brilliant!

Are you purposely being obtuse? Or do you not understand the difference between opinion on something non-existent and data on things in existence?

A while ago someone made a post thinking that WoW is now in the “long tail” phase of sales. So not maintenance, but heading there.

still better than newsarticlewebsite

Me? You’ve either fundamentally missed the objective of my post or you’re trolling at this point.

I might be a terrible person for saying this but… those names are hilarious. Also adding RickRoll on the homepage. Never let the internet pick anything for sure hahaha.

Is this a new trend? Every time someone makes a comment someone doesn’t agree with, suddenly they’re a troll.

You said, and I quote:

And then you go on to say how your guild is dead and how they ignore the feedback here because vocal minority.

So that means you want them to put a poll out for feedback on what people do and don’t like right now in the game.

Blizzard already has data on what gets played, how often, for how long, by how many, etc etc etc. They don’t need a poll to tell them information they already see.

And you came back with a report about a non-existent mount vote.

So you tell me where the line of communication broke down.

the post is kind of bogus trying to bribe people with stuff the results would never be skewed lol.

Not every time, just the times when I have an extended discussion with someone about the sun and they argue with me about the moon.

First you argued that non-randomized polling would yield skewed data, ignoring the intention of the poll, and substituting your own assumptions about what it would yield. Then you shifted your argument to polls being unnecessary. Because evidently, you have direct knowledge of what they track, how it’s aggregated, and analyzed.

And then claimed I was being obtuse simply for disagreeing with both the thesis and conclusion of your argument.

So sure man, if I’m calling you a troll at this point it’s totally because muh fragility.

Next.

If it was a poll about which new store mount we want on the other hand…
Blizzard:

I am a Troll. So what’s wrong with that? I gotta be hexin’ you too?

Lotta you not given ol’ Forum the Troll the respect she deserve…

Sun - That be all Lightforged stuff. Moon be all Elune. I stick with the MoJo and my Loa…

They do ignore the forums. So this post will join all the rest in the cold, dark, endless void.

I always enjoy the story of when the New York Mets baseball team put up a poll for what song to play during the game and got Rickrolled.

 :joy:  :joy:  :joy:  :joy:  :expressionless:  :joy:

Exactly :100: we have given them fact based results and plenty proof time and time :timer_clock: again. Only to be ignored over and over and over including on the PTR.

:man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:

I think we found the problem in the first four words.

Funny considering a poll is what they sent to people in email.

I’ve silently wondered a few times if what we are witnessing is the most profitable way to sun-set an MMO.

More cash services to make the profit but hollow out the playerbase.

Over time, it takes care of itself, and the company makes more money for less effort at the tail end of the life cycle.

Then I tell myself that’s too cynical. They’re making more cash if they can attempt to do a good job and keep a few more players than going full cynical.

I dunno.

It’s a mess, that’s for sure. The defenders… even if you love where the game is at right now, you’re living with your head in the sand to profess “This is fine” to others.
