Bears are just fluffy monsters that eat you and take lots of naps. But a Deer I see as a symbol representing the juxtaposition between death and freedom

Personally I only like disc and shadow for priest. However the class as a whole is missing QoL things that Druid gets. An interrupt being one of them.
Druid has literally everything except bloodlust. Sprint, stealth, self heals, stun, incap, roots, knock back, vortex, battle rez, a good party buff, and the specs to fill any role.
As much as I like priest I’d have to pick Druid. They always have at least one good spec and they’re a favorite of blizzard. They get new forms and such too. Which is nice

Why not both?
Both are super fun in different ways! You can’t tank or do melee dps on a priest! Druid doesn’t have cool purple shadow magic! Priest can’t turn into a kitty! Druid can’t bubble people! They are both fun.

Holy priest or shadow priest for immersion and role-play reasons.
I find druid meh for immersion and role-play because of how Blizzard choose to make it so many of the spells astral-based as opposed to nature-based.
Don’t get me wrong, I love playing my druid in cat form. But role-play-wise, she is pretty one-note and that makes the immersion pretty shallow.

Druid hands down.
Holy/Disc still don’t have interrupt, and low mobility. Shadow still has this weird shadow form/void form thing. Is that basically the same thing?? Some people might complain/harass about not getting PI. Finally, Disc has a learning curve, it’s definitely not for everyone.
Druids can do a lot of things like others mentioned in the thread. In addition, they have a lot of unique customization for each form. It’s fun to collect and use the skins. You may not show off your mogs as a race often, but the unique skins for the forms are really cool.
The specs of Druid can be somewhat confusing and difficult like eclipse mechanic or learning about feral energy bar. I still play three specs: Balance, Resto, and Guardian. It’s fun to play. Honest.
