With this kind of a loot system a leader can simply “hold” items until everyone else has to go or gives up on the run and claim they or their friends are the only players left to get any loot.

can a raid leader hold the loot as things stand?

are there methods to police the holding of loot in a way that was not agreed to?

are those methods more enforceable when they are loot systems that are within the game?

was there ever any holding of loots (ninjaing) with GDKP?

• A person winning an item that they don’t actually want.
• A person being denied loot because of personal biases.
• A person being denied loot because someone else decided it isn’t good for them.
• Players winning an item they don’t need for free and trading it to a friend.
• Players winning an item they don’t need for free and selling it to someone else for gold.
• Players leaving when an item doesn’t drop.
• Players that “have to go” after 1 wipe.
• Inability to fill a spot when someone leaves halfway through the raid.
• Players walking away empty handed.
• Players never returning to raid content once they obtain enough the gear.

1. Unless they’re being spiteful to someone else.
2. Unless someone else in the raid decides they don’t like you and is willing to spend gold to make sure you get nothing.
