If you're banning GDKP, what alternative solution are you offering?

So Bergelmir logs off/stops posting a bit ago and now Pettersson is on the job for the next bit, keeping the post whipped up with the same takes?

Orrrr, maybe it’s just the same dude with a lot of time?

newsflash, The GDKPers will just join a guild and pay with real money - which solves nothing.

if a small group of very silly people want to hand dollars around for pixels, nobody cares. that isnt promoting botting and isnt going to hit the server economy

nobody cares that whaling andy might get bis, they care that his gold is going to inflate the consumes market unnecessarily and cause bots to crush the materials markets far faster than either would happen otherwise.

As a legal professional (a paralegal), I can promise you that hyperbole isn’t used for legal purposes. I honestly have no idea what this sentence is supposed to mean.

its more than a little sus, but why not, well let it fly :dracthyr_crylaugh:

So it’s not used in the legal profession at all. Got it.

Your next bit claimed blizzard could do things but wasn’t. Which makes it sound like you issue isn’t blizzard not doing anything. It’s them doing things you don’t agree with.

Those aren’t the same.

Then you should really look into a new line of career. Idk what to tell you. It is very basic logical legal skills

lol Ya kinda sus, but funny.

I guess the thought process would be they figure if they keep it whipped up enough, it will convince the devs to change. I wonder if they know IP’s can be seen, so if it’s one dude hopping accounts, it’s kinda obvious. Maybe it’s more than one…/shrug who knows?

That said, I am pretty certain the devs have looked at how the gold moves behind the scenes, have made rock solid connections and those clear connections impacted the decision to shutdown GDKP as well. Further, the direct correlation between a drop in RMT gold prices with the annoucements, suggests connections.

We’ll see. I know I’m rooting for the devs to do the same with boosting, especially in Retail. Again, we’ll see.

So you would agree that putting an grease fire out with water? Bc that’s very much so what they are doing lol. It doesn’t take a genius to see this

Yes. Not my cup of tea.

So being paid to raid. Thank you.

Apparently enough of them are. Never said all of them were buying gold.

When they buy gold they kinda do, but that’s a different discussion.

They do.

Just as most PUG groups are, this one just pays you to do it. which is apparently all that matters to some.

Ad hominem and incorrect. Was removed due to being a known avenue for illicit gold used by bad actors in GDKP runs. Deflecting to name calling does not help you or make you right.

If they want to take the risk to their own money and potentially their WoW account go for it. I don’t police any player in this game.

found the best way to end these threads is to show them that this phase bis is also solo wpvp gated, or crafted. Can’t even buy carries lol.

RMT is obviously an issue and GDKP increases the demand on bots and the gold supply. I am glad you consede this point.

Have you seen the solution Simonized proposed on his channel? It would be complex for some but I honestly believe a bidding system that kept raiders involved after achieving bis would be great.

Here a link to the video ~https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjJnN5xie-o&t=1s~

(He talks about the solution at the 6:25 mark)

You picked a part of my sentence to argue with without reading the sentence.

it doesn’t really surprise me tbh.

what is your goal here? If you have a legit argument use it.

This has been argued for years. Blizzard decided in favor of anti gdkp. They even changed how bis is gained. you cant even get someone to carry you. Sorry bro, you gotta learn to play as intented.

you have been spewing barely comprehensible text diarrhea for like 4 days, really not sure you wanna get on your high horse here.

I have helped write many legal briefs. Writing about the facts of litigation is literally what I do for a living and I am telling you that using hyperbole in that context is simply not done and, in fact, would be a good way to get sanctions levied against you by a judge.

Legal skill requires you to use very precise language. Using the kind of hyperbole you are talking about is the actual opposite of what we do in the legal system.

Hyperbole is a well known rhetorical device. You don’t have to bring the legal profession into it to explain that’s what you were doing. In fact, bringing the legal profession into it when you don’t know the first thing about how we write in the legal world makes you look incredibly foolish. It’s 100% a self own that is completely unnecessary.

The smart thing for you to do here is to stop doubling down with someone who knows for a fact that you are wrong on this point, admit you misspoke, and move on to the substance of your argument.

No worries! even if you had disagreed I have wanted to understand so I could engage with ya.

I read your whole post out of basic respect and good faith. I asked and you avoided a yes or no question but still gave me an answer to it anyway.

I gave you applicable rebuttals that you have ignored.
If you don’t have time to commit to a guild raid schedule (which I find questionable) there are plenty of other PUG options out there to do so. Why is GDKP better than a normal DKP or a SR run? Answer as if you were making a group please.

That the attitudes presented by those in favor of GDKP rely heavily on being paid to raid and that other forms of loot distribution aren’t worth their time. This is what has been presented in numerous other threads, do I attribute it to all GDKP? no, but I do consider it the main reason for the majority who participate. You have said nothing that refutes this for me.

same to you

this is facts

heres the funny thing, i dont have to get on any horse.

no matter how indignant you get, no matter how much stupid trash you spew.

gdkp will still be banned on the 8th :dracthyr_comfy_blue:

There’s nothing logical about saying “99% of blah blah blah…” Are you conflating the actual legal profession with Better Call Saul?
