How so? A person in a gdkp who didnât buy gold is still very knowingly accepting rmtâd gold in their payout, they are not innocent and after the 8th they are also breaking tos.
Someone posting items on the ah has no idea who will buy it and 0 control over where that persons gold came from.

I have only pugged raids in SoD and have never done a GDKP and have never had any of these issues. Stop trying to justofy your gold buying.

There is no alternative to your stupid daddyâs credit card powered loot system. In vanilla, you either run raids in a guild which uses a loot-council system Or you pug it out and leave it to chance. Before you start crapping out about guilds and loot-council, you can always join another guild or make your own. End of the story.

Nope. GDKP is a driving factor for RMT and botting. Whales just like to ignore reality because they canât stand losing the ability to just buy gear.
It also degrades the social structure of the game. Raids are nothing more than a business transaction.
Fantastic decision by Blizz. And hopefully the toxic whales leave SoD. It would be amazing for the community and the game.

You can always go play Wrath where you can just buy your way to prosperity. Until it hopefully gets banned there too.
Look, trying to argue that RMT and GDKPs arenât linked is beyond ridiculous. If thereâs one thing SoD has proven itâs that those two things are inherently connected. Bots are freaking everywhere. Gold buying is rampant. What is there to spend that kind of gold on at level 25? GDKPs. End of story.

WoW existed and succeeded before GDKP, and it will continue to do so after GDKP is gone. Other loot systems might not be up to your version of par, but many people feel the same way about GDKP. Pay to win is absurd and thatâs the environment GDKP breeds. Play like everyone else and suck it up.

You know what would really fix the rmt gdkp. Personal loot. No loot drama. Then you just have people selling runs to carry players for gear. And less people farming gold to stay online. And causes this and that maneuvering this into that which causes this over here implicating that this will in turn fix that but acutually causes this to happen that finally causes this and that with rust.

So DKP has been around since before wow was a thing dating back many years prior.
The issue with the system is it isnât fluid through groups if you leave one you canât join another at the same level.
GDKP fixed that by allowing a form of points that moved from 1 group to the next which is why it caught on so heavily and become one of the top loot systems used in all of wow.
alternatively basic MS>OS and Soft reserve are available to but most groups donât use these systems as they typically control it more.
People who make alts like to be able to come and go.
