Detox says removes all magic effects which isnt what is stated in Emergency Salves which only removes diseases and poison effects.

I don’t do M+ because people are freaking wild and insane, but in normals/heroics, I tell people, “I’m your healer, but I’m not your mom. Clean your own room.”

Detox doesn’t remove magic effects, or at least for brewmaster it doesn’t (you can see this by opening the talent calc rather than googling the spell) - just poison and disease.

  • Applies a health absorb shield to all players. This doesn’t appear to scale with key level.

  • Deals 2% max health every second.

  • Can be dispelled by any dispel type: Poison, Curse, Disease or Magic

  • Lasts 15 seconds – if times out heals all enemies for 2510% max health

Note that the wording “dispel” is including “dispelling” poison/disease. I’ve had hunters in my group this week take care of it themselves.

That’s literally a functional dispell…

Just because it doesn’t state “dispell” in the wording doesn’t mean it doesn’t work for the affix…

I mean there’s another hunter in the thread that says it works, so why are you trolling

I mean actively not dispelling in protest is silly but yes, DPS who don’t take dispel are generally garbage. The bar is extremely low for DPS players. A DPS using a defensive is a miracle in and of itself.
