Any sort of dispell works for this affix… Poisons, curses, diseases, magic etc.
They all remove it.

Why does it have to be spike damage? Just unavoidable damage that spans the length of Barkskin is all that is required to consider the talent. Which happens quite often.

Its not bad faith. You mentioned taking a dispel to help the healer, i mentioned taking another talent that helps the healer more in the course of an entire run.
Not to mention ive got my own self heals that i can cast to heal myself up as well, and they just so happen to be free and instant.
you are so weird calling a non-dispell as a dispell. what ever helps you to sleep.
Name one fight in any dungeon ever released where you’re taking unavoidable damage for 12 seconds straight as a DPS.

As a tank, not a healer, its everyone’s job, not just the healer
In case you’re not trolling and are just dumb as a knob.
Any mechanic that removes a debuff is considered a “dispell”
Like how kick, pummel, rebuke, etc are considered, “interrupts”

Whether we say dispel or cure, the point being made is that your abilities which cure are also acting as a dispel in this case, and will allow you to clear your own affix. You can keep trolling or go try it for yourself to see that it works, as other hunters in the thread have said.

I had a Ret Pally in a recent group with dispel talented but never used it…he was 2200 io…
I’m not surprised.
