The slavery isn’t happening. That’s why I’m not going to get butthurt. Prove it, then I’ll get angry. Not much I can do anyway, since I don’t own an iPhone and never have.
It’s a shame this game is such garbage in its current state. Because I really want to support Blizzard in its current state since they’re being singled out by the woke mob in Cali. They should just move state to Texas.
Did you just call me an ape? I see your racist as well…
All i can hear is sheep noises now, when i read your comments. Someone translate pls. Like a sheep monkey hybrid
If you think a person can’t take a stand on an issue, because there are “other issues” out there - get real - this is planet earth. Think about the logical flow of what you’re suggesting: if a person doesn’t take a stand against everything bad, they can’t make a stand against anything lest they be called a hypocrite. It’s ridiculous. You gave the iPhone as an example, but that’s the basic flow of your flawed reasoning.
That’s not how the world has ever worked - but it is a good recipe to try to get people to take no action - on ANYTHING.
You can make a stand and leave. I stated that above. Feeling the need to act like you are virtuous when you are not, is what makes you a hypocrite.
wrong. Those families dont eat if they dont work in those third world crapholes.
THIS is a first world country thats supposed to be PC and not living in the misogynist stone ages.
Not even close to being comparable.
Someone get the mage to unsheep/unmonkey this dude. He must have been like this for years!
Thank you. And as it was pointed out, just because you support funding Alzheimer’s research instead of cancer research doesn’t mean you don’t care about cancer…
So you don’t want people to talk about these things?
You really just want everyone to silently go away and not have conversations about social issues?
I don’t support that either. We need to talk these things out, even if it means arguing. That’s how a society determines what its standards are. That’s how people figure out what’s important to them.
Apparently because someone popularized the term “whataboutism”, being principled or consistent doesn’t matter.
Logic doesn’t matter. Because it’s “whataboutism”.
Say you want to decrease gun violence and want to ban “assault rifles”, even though 97% of firearm homicides involve handguns? RALLY AWAY! Anyone who asks why you’re not going after handguns, which represent the majority of the problem are “whatabouters”. And anyone who speculates that the end goal may not just be “assault rifles”, but in fact most or all guns, but “assault rifles” are simply being used as a first step because it’s easy to garner support over by using mass shootings? Perhaps they’ll start small because people are more likely to accept gradual change, and because people are not always forthcoming with their intentions? CONSPIRACY THEORIST.
Why have critical thought, logic, or consistency, when we can use fun propaganda buzzwords to discredit them?
Cancelling Blizzard but still going to use Windows 10 and your Bill Gates PC after it has been revealed he created a predatory and sexually oppressive workplace? “SHUT THE HELL UP YOU WHATABOUTER, I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT BILL GATES”. No, you’re not talking about him. Because you only talk about what’s convenient for you at that very moment. You create the talking points, stacked in your own favor, then when someone counters with their own, you say “we’re not talking about that.” What a wonderous world, where nothing matters except exactly what you’re feeling about something in this instant, and no one can challenge you because consistency or reason don’t matter, because “whataboutism”.
Boycotting one severely inconveniences you, the other not so much?
But it doesn’t mean that. By your logic, you’re a hypocrite because I’m fairly certain that the computer your using to disseminate all that self-righteousness wasn’t made by unionized American labor.
Called slacktivist.
Again, it comes down to picking your battles. World of Warcraft is a GAME meant for entertainment, not a lifeline to the outside world. I don’t like the healthcare system in this country either, does that mean I’m not going to the doctor’s? No. It means I only have so many resources, as a nobody, that I can levy against big business. My livelihood depends on my computer, I work from home. My livelihood does not depend on WoW.
You can have consistency when you compare two comparable items.
It’s rather funny, because they’ve been put in an uncomfortable position.
On the one hand, they hate massive companies who cheat taxes, billionaires, and wealth disparity. For-profit business in general. They want regulation over nearly every industry, and more of it.
On the other, Trump’s crusade against Silicon Valley has them running to the defense of these same companies in an effort to be a Trump-contrarian, saying “private enterprise” and “capitalism”.
It’s a fun contradiction to see play out.
People pick their battles. No one person can fix the world. Yet you expect them to or if they can’t then shut up.
You living off the land eating only windblown apples and fallen tree bark these days? I guess you can’t have a voice about anything if you’re not doing that. You know with global warming and all.
Give me a break - this is all just subterfuge to dismiss the critics - it’s slimy and flawed and totally not realistic.
Preach! Impart that wisdom brother!
lol, so I am racist now because I said they were made with slave labor. You really are touched in the head… This is better for them or is it just better for your conscience to believe that garbage you just posted? https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/jun/18/foxconn-life-death-forbidden-city-longhua-suicide-apple-iphone-brian-merchant-one-device-extract
They have heard you and seen the error of their ways. They will try to be better going forwards.
Is that the correct line they give for everything when they screw up?
