And there’s a difference between being confronted with concrete evidence and ignoring potential rumors. In this day and age we are constantly inundated with half-truths and hearsay. We can’t afford to pick every battle, especially if we can’t prove there’s a fight. You’ll always have some people out there picking fights over feelings, but if you want us to pick fights over facts, then you need to allow us to demand evidence before acting.
