Teleporting to the dungeon is one element of RDF that is highly criticized.
You should get used this objective fact.
The teleport is one small reason the RDF is good. Just as summoning stones is one reason BC is better than vanilla. Just as adding the port to CoT made BC better.

That said removing the teleport is a reasonable compromise for LFD, most people care a lot more about being able to get a group.
We also teleport to MH and BT and sunwell.
It’s great.
Ion has specifically mentioned he regrets the amounts of portals and easy teleportation there is in the game to date.
He probably had some input on why RDF was removed.

FFXIV seems to have lots of portal stones all over the place. Since that’s the game I’m playing now the lack of a dungeon port in wrath doesn’t bother me at all.
If only wow can become as successful as FF14 is currently.
They should copy some of ff14 features.
Your still failing to understand the comparison is using rdf vs NOT USING rdf.
I mean it would be like skipping the heroic daily you would miss out on two badges…

So you fail to understand there is exactly nothing stopping you from forming groups exactly as you do now and using LFD?
But then I know you like to shift goal posts.
Rdf existing hurts natural group forming by its very existence.
No it doesn’t you can still form your own groups

The claim that LFD incentivizes not forming group others ways is completely false.
Now if you are trying to make the argument that the average pug you pick up in chat is no better than the average random player you get in LFD, well that doesn’t really help your argument.
You are obligated to have a sound argument IF you want it to have any weight. And that applies to BOTH sides. You are not obligated to have a sound argument when you do make an argument. Mistakes happen and will always happen. You can learn from them.
A good argument is more likely to have an effect than a bad one, but it will not necessarily have one. And as you mentioned:
peer pressure can possibly make people consider bad arguments. So the claim that “You are obligated to have a sound argument IF you want it to have any weight” isn’t even always true.
Stating that you will convince nobody sane with a very bad argument is just stating the obvious. You have to make insane mental gymnastic to associate my ignorance of this to our discussion. Seems like you’re arguing for the sake of arguing. If you’re not, try not to make general statement that can be misunderstood. We just argue over nothing right now.
You ignored a good portion of my reply so my confusion about your previous replies remain but I don’t really care.
I’ll add that even if it was true that no good argument exist in the side you disagree with(because they are clearly wrong in this scenario). You would be having a double standard by not acknowledging that your own side also makes bad arguments. Mentioning it alongside would remove any validity to any such claims. For which side arguments validity is currently more practical is irrelevant to the double standard.
