You’re gonna have to because mounts just don’t do it for me anymore. I got lots of mounts. Starting an alt to go through the 3 other covenant campaigns isn’t my idea of fun. Venthyr parties? Yeah, come check out my ardenweld seed garden for fun times and bags of 3 fish and 5 leather.
None of this stuff is interesting. It’s boring and tedious. Renown campaign, that disjointed - drip fed story. Exciting stuff.
The only thing remotely interesting to ME is TC and that doesn’t offer anything after the first go through. So, for me, boring! Two thumbs way down.
I love that your approach is “Everyones opinions are wrong except mine, and thats not my opinion, that’s fact!”
I wonder how well that works for you in the real world.
With every expansion, even the better ones, there are people who complain. It’s always been that way. This isn’t anything new. Consider it recycled content.
Consider this: Many people who complain DO love WoW, that’s why they complain. Passionately. The ones who truly don’t like WoW already left and you’re talking to no one.

Even Sponge Bob Battle for Bikini Bottom with a case of diet coke is better than SL.
So what are you hoping to get as a casual player then? I’m lost. You just admitted there’s a ton to do, you just don’t like it personally.
I don’t know what casuals expect. Gear progression that crosses with players who invest time into group content is unreasonable.
Your flat out wrong but ok, far be it of me to deny someone his craptastic meal… btw u got some brown on ur upper lip…
Is it though? If TC offered something along the lines of gear acquisition, I’d be satisfied. Would that be unreasonable? I don’t think so.
Not gonna happen anyway, so pointless discussing it really.
Yes because it invalidates all of the work and preparation that is put into clearing higher tier raids and high keys.
If they had a Torghast set with bonuses purely for Torghast I wouldn’t be opposed to that though.
You mean pointless chores? Old content that’s been nerfed?

So what exactly are you asking for in terms of content?
How about what we’ve had in the last two expansions? You know, the stuff you turned your nose up at and demanded it be gutted so you wouldn’t feel obligated to do it?
But since you’ve already said that casuals deserve no gear progression of any sort, there’s really nothing to discuss with you.

Well when you start single-handedly funding the game I might take your “digital morality” into consideration.
But from a business perspective, which by the way, impacts you whether you can understand that or not, it’s killing interest in the product for people like me (how many are like me out there, I haven’t a clue - but I’m guessing it’s not insignificant).
Oh? You want Azerite gear back and being forced to do world quests?
How is that not chores?
So you won’t be happy until they give you mythic raid gear from world quests is essentially what your saying?
Especially since you didn’t respond to my idea about content specific gearing/progression (of which I think casuals could progress quite deeply into a Torghast set)
You didn’t ask for details, and I don’t recall supplying specifics, so it’s not wise to make assumptions or put words in my mouth.
I wasn’t thinking of mythic raid level gear actually. Far humbler in my desires.
Something, however, is better than a pit of tedious nothing.

I think it’s only fair that world content should award LFR quality gear at best.
An alternative I can think of would be the best reward from open world content and weekly activities is tied to the highest content you’ve completed (say you kill a boss on heroic, from here on out all your rewards will max out at heroic instead of 187)
I’m sure they can figure something out that works, if they were so inclined.
So with you 21k achievements, confess.
Confess this game has been great for years. Confess now that SL is fun enough to play; fun enough to complain about wanting improvement.
If SL was so bad, you would not continue to spend time playing it or in its forums.
What do you think about the balance patches?
What about 9.0.5?
Aren’t Blizz doing a good job of iteration towards a better game yet never reaching perfection?
Players who have had problems with WoW have still played it for years. Classic is also a thing.
No. They’re doing a terrible job. This is among the worst expansions in this game’s history. The upcoming patch is late, is unfinished, is so vague and empty, and nothing of Shadowlands is promising. All of the exhausting, unfun, and negative to player systems that BFA had by the end are up front in Shadowlands.
You can like it if you want. But that doesn’t mean it’s not trash.

When any exigence calls
I like Shadowlands and have no plans to quit but I do know if we do not see PVP CONTENT and REAL ALT FRIENDLY MECHANICS I doubt I’ll be around after the patch is ground down and I clear the raid on mythic.
I fell behind this tier and decided to raid casually (4/10M). If I was 10/10M atm or near it, I know I’d be bored in just a few weeks. I haven’t been enjoying playing alts, which is super disappointing. The grind is too real to get up to more competitive levels and all of the RP/ instanced/ quest chain/ soul ash/ lego recipe crap kills me the 2nd time through for me, let alone 3rd. It should not literally take as long as it did on my main to get all of the crap necessary to be within throwing distance of where my pally is at progression wise. If I went all in on my alt priest it would take 2-months to be where I am now with the exception of some lame general minimal impact stuff like Covenant power.
