What makes SL better than BFA? I logged in BFA and did stuff everyday. SL I am at the raid logging point.

it’s the same story every expansion.
people complaining on the forums. 6 weeks in people start posting about how their friend list is supposedly empty again - how people are quitting in droves. they mention another mmorpg and how it’s so much better.
new patch comes out and people come back and complain again.
the long posts about quitting because the devs don’t care and blah blah get like 250 likes, and all of a sudden people think they’re right when in reality the vast majority of people are online enjoying the game.
the game has problems for sure, but its nice

Can I go shorter? If I put in an apostrophe and an S and drop the “is” then I can make SL own the bad… yeah. That’s more accurate too.

I just love people like Taibo, they can’t even see the issues even if it was a snake and bit them. Been playing since 2007 and even Know the game is no longer fun and the rewards are so stupid. I just love getting loot boxes full of grey items conduit powers and occasional gear BUT it’s mostly grey items.
Anima rewards more like Joke reward considering the astronomical cost everything is.
As I have said someone bought me the game I will respect that and play for them not for some gold hoop tricks which is what we are now forced to do.

First expansion I’ve ever actually had to use the bug report feature. The copious amount that are in this game indicate that that is in fact, a lie.
I’m enjoying SL so far, but we can’t just pretend like Soulbinds and 3/4 covenant abilities of most classes were a total waste of time when within days the cookie cutter solutions had all been figured out. Statistically ~75% of the covenant abilities are being used by less than 5% of the entire playerbase. What an absolute waste of dev resources.
We should’ve just gotten Shadowlands themed spec abilities (just like the signature abilities from Legion) which would still equal less abilities than the Shadowlands ones, but with far more ease balancing them as well as more personalized flavour. The abilities could just have different particles depending on which covenant is chosen. Way better solution.

Every normal person gets tired of playing “basically the same game” eventually – 2 years, 5 years, even 14 years. It’s normal. What was “fun and exciting” 12 years ago isn’t now. How is that different from jobs, relationships, and other hobbies? It isn’t.
I agree totally that (to some players) SL is bad compared to XYZ. But there are also players that like SL better than XYZ. How is that new? I learned long ago that different people like/hate different things. I really don’t care whether some other player hates SL. So what?
26,000 achievement points, played since 2007: sounds like someone really really liked this game. Should be able to admit that Blizzard did something right for about 10 years. A lot of what they did right in those ten years are still in the game now. Even a bad expansion of WoW is better than most games.
Someone paid for your sub time? Sounds weird. Sounds more like you now work for FF14 or Ashes of Creation and you just want to say this MMO is not fun.
There are real issues about the game that being discussed and addressed in the next patch. Check them out, when you are not sowing dissent.

This is an MMO. If you expect raid quality gear you need to make some friends or at least interact with other players to get it.
There is plenty to do, especially if your a casual. I think the core of SL is very strong but very weak points such as Torghast and the Maw need to be remedied.
I actually think Shadowlands is the most casual friendly expansion in a very long time (with both BFA and Legion ((Despite legion being a solid expansion)) being horrible experiences for casual players who want to actually do casual content)

Well you can get probably 100 mounts from rares, treasures, intricate achievements. You can take part in your covenant campaign activity (abomination factory, Venthyr parties) which all award cool cosmetics, mounts, and pets.
There are daily quests tied to these activities and fun incentives to do them. Although I personally find it boring there is also Torghast and twisted xooridors which are both casual friendly content. You can level an alt. Need I go on?

Just here for the diet coke…which is disgusting, but still better than SL.
