If you don’t like SL, it’s time to quit WoW

No room for error?

Read my EDIT 1 in OP

But if I go away the bad guys win.

so basically you just want to tell players how to play. the thing you fail to realize is it don’t matter whats in this game the dumb amount of grinding the newest thing will never go away no matter what they do. blizz knows this why you think the went back made gear harder to get cause people going to do it just like mythic+ loot it don’t matter either way players are gonna do it. the majority of people left in this game are gonna deal with whatever blizz throws at them complain and back to it again. so no matter what blizz does people like us gonna be here and they done know, no matter what they do or how the game is the addicted will always be here til its dead.

Honestly, it’s about time people stop telling other people what to do.

You are in no way above people that do not like Shadowlands and therefore should not be telling people they should be canceling their subs.

In reality, you are calling for people to cancel subs causing blizzard to lose money. If you love this game you should support this game, you should be demanding people not cancel their subs and encourage them to enjoy the content they may be missing out on.

Read the entire OP and my Edit 1.

Honestly, did you just read the title?

Why give them praise when they need as much constructive criticism as possible?

Torghast is mediocre.
Some class specs are boring to play.
Gearing can be a nightmare.

These are all legitimate issues the Devs need to square before they loose all the good will they garnered this expac.

Not in the slightest. It’s been corrupted by classic’s pos talents and nonsense questing. And a massive slap in the face to Engineers by not letting us be able to smelt those ingots. This is proof that Classic has been toxic to real wow.

I really dislike sl. I only log on to raid. Other than that I’ve been doing old content to entertain myself like tmog farming and unlocking nightborne

My goal is to have fun and earn rewards. This expac is one of the most unrewarding I’ve seen. Its stacking up to be worse than WoD. The grinds reward more grinds. Those grinds reward things that require you to grind even more before obtaining.

How do you have fun???

PvP? What type? What level? Rated, unrated? Maybe you love random BGs and you want middle of the road gear? Tell us.

Dungeons? Heroic, mythic, Mplus? How high of keys are fun for you?

Raid? LFR, normal, heroic?

No judgement, I just want to know specifically you do in WoW to have fun? Then what level of rewards do you feel is necessary to join it?

At what ilvl does the mob scaling stop and being able to actually overpower them happens? 210? 205? 225? 195?

That’s approximately the level range of rewards should be out there for most activities outside of Heroic/Mythic Raiding and M+ higher key, which should be higher for the bonus most people are willing to down the challenges for.

Scale the game to the normal raid, LFR, heroic dungeon range.

Then your question doesn’t matter.

Everyone is playing where they have fun.

Are you someone playing the lore, WQ, maybe some dungeons? Great. Your ilvl rewards will be in the kind of range where challenging anything that’s not heroic/mythic raid or M+ is within your grasp.

Are you someone who enjoys heroic dungeons, possibly M0?
Great. You ilvl rewards will be in the kind of range where challenging anything that’s not heroic/mythic raid or M+ is within your grasp.

Point being that everyone who is having fun has the gear necessary to start looking into and trying the higher raid and M+ content by doing what they consider fun.

Versus this incremental ladder of hitting every branch, berry, and twig of the tree, regardless of fun or interest.

People will replay things they find fun over and over and over again.

Not fun? See the wall, look at requirements post, shrug and leave.

The carrot currently being dangled out there isn’t enough nor is it reasonably acheivable for a lot of people to put up with that tree full of degenerate gameplay, toxic groups, toxic requirements over every little things.

This post reminds me the videos with defending of new Star Wars trilogy and how completely and utterly NOT GARBAGE IT IS PLEASE BELIEVE ME YOU JUST WATCH MOVIES WRONG!11™

If I had time as Mauler for his film reviews and film review reviews, I would gladly create you a video about how this game is utter bullshnit and what is really wrong with it. And no this isn’t me burned out. I waited for this expansion and bought time for next half of the years for two of my accounts.
This is literally nothing to do (except old stuff) cause there is nothing to do. And what IS there isn’t interesting or non repetitive.

I love the game now more than ever cuz if I get bored with SL I can hop on classic or vice versa.

its rng wether you can get past the M0 hump no matter how you go about it

But at least everyone who wants to can do it and if you don’t want to, you don’t have to.

Honestly, it’s giving the elite exactly what they’re asking for and have been whining forever about.

You know that part about how we don’t need gear from M+ and Mythic Raids?..well, okay, let’s make sure the rest of the game is set for the pinnacle to be normal raid and then the only people who are in M+ and Mythic Raiding are the people who want to be there and need the gear for it.

Otherwise, they really have been doing nothing but yelling at everyone else about their epeen and purplez and to get out of their game.

If you strike out on your 8 M0’s you can’t do crap

If that were the case then who would be playing now? The top players that would be playing regardless? SL was doa

But as long as the ilvl for being able to decently overpower open world mobs, do daily quests in the Maw, the WQ without it being every mob a grind…then you’re not out of anything except if you were trying to jump on the M+ road.

The ilvl between hdung/M0/LFR and normal raid, being smaller, and ANY of those being able to satisfy the overcoming world mobs, etc. means that losing out on climbing the ladder is only losing out on climbing the ladder…the rest of it keeps on chugging.

No skin off my back if people want to stick it into the meat grinder to earn challenge bonus item level gear as long as the rest of the game isn’t scaled to that gear.

The post was suggesting how to fix, not a discourse on how it exists today.

SL is DOA for anyone who is not either a top player or totally uninterested in anything other than logging in and spending time in the game.

Everyone in between…

Seriously, though, why does not liking or liking SL require this kind of drama?

What’s the point?

You can have issues with things while still being critical of it.

You can rant hard on the forums.

You can also leave the game and return. No need to make big decisions about what video game you’re going to play in the future. It literally could not matter less.

You’re right. Even the most die-hard people complaining do say that there are good things in SL.

Just that what is giving them issues blocks them out.

I haven’t seen any real number of issues raised about the art and music outside of the fun clipping issues that are always around.

People think that the dungeon encounters were well done.
…that the amount of mounts and other accessible collectibles was good.

Positivity is out there, just not with a lot of the systems and experiments that Blizz set up in this xpack.
