If you can’t see the entire point of this thread was to make sure stupid people pay attention, then I don’t know what to tell you.
Tier literally hasn’t had set bonuses on boots, belts or bracers since Vanilla and the pieces specifically show you what they’re turned into. If people can’t pay attention and can’t remember how all tier after Vanilla was, while also not reading blue posts and this thread… then that’s on them.
We’ve idiot proofed it quite enough.

The whole point is why make this is an option? You can literally accomplish the same thing by restricting it to the tier slots with bonuses.

I don’t Mythic raid.
I do mythic plus.
I want the Mythic raid set complete for transmog.
After converting all my 278 mythic plus tier eligible pieces, I will then convert all of my non-tier 278 mythic plus pieces in the catalyst to finish the set since I have thousands of flux lying around.
It also works as a sort of ghetto reforging since the stats are predetermined. so you can reroll off pieces if the raid variant is better for you

Because i’ll already have them all by then. so i wont need them anymore.
Misinformed, underinformed, etc… The whole thing has been billed as a way to convert gear into Tier sets despite the off slots not being part of the actual tier set.
I’m sure the in-game UI won’t help matters.
I have had to explain it to quite a few of my guild who thought they would get the bonus from boots etc --you over estimate peoples comprehension of things ( You are right though -how in hell did they evn think for a second you would get bonus from teh otehr bits )

And after all of the idiot proofing, that’s on the person, not Blizz.
This gives everyone a chance to make their set bonuses and then the rest of the outfit afterwards.
