if you do mythic+ or pvp and want the raid mog. that’s the only reason. the amount of hysterics here every day from people who think they’ll get a deadly disease and die if they step foot into a raid… that’s who this is for.
But why not restrict it still to only tier bonus only pieces?
Edit- I’ve been drinking so maybe my brain can’t comprehend the use cases, but it seems like it only makes it so now people can be unaware and use a charge on an off piece and be screwed.

Yeah, I think that is fine. People will still be able to get their 4 set if they use their gear slots right.
What part of getting transmog from the tier bonuses doesn’t make sense?

Please explain how changing a wrist item to be tier to get transmog is different than changing your shoulder piece.

tier pieces have always come in specific slots and are even listed now. why on god’s green earth would someone actually think they can magically create a tier piece that isn’t even listed?

I hate the cooldown because you’ll craft a tier piece and then get the same tier piece from the vault or a drop. Essentially wasting a charge. It makes more sense to hold off on using the creation catalyst just to make sure you can get 4 pc tier as soon as possible

THe catalyst along with changing non tier tier slot items to tier also all non tier slot items to the non tier items of the set .
THe set is only 5 tier pieces but the complete set is 9.
5 tier and 4 non tier . Putting non tier slot items into it adds to the complete set .
Only item slots that are already tier can be converted to tier . The rest go towards transmog or to bis non tier slots

Now I’m not playing with CC until I get a third. It’s redundant to craft a third since it serves no function.

If you can’t see people thinking they can make off pieces into tier and expecting the bonus I don’t know what to tell you.
I’m still wondering where you are trying to go with this. Kinda painful to watch though, I will be honest.
