it sounds like you do care because your begging me on the forum to take a spot in maybe my last week of ranking and getting more aggressive using horde alts in darnassus to kill me between queues. just like last time, very shady behavior, and still you continue to falsely accuse me for botting multiple times in only a few posts. seems very clear you do not want me to get 14 if you can stop it
He said “you deserve what you get.” Which is vague, and a stretch to think that he’s talking about any behaviour beyond the consequences we’ve discussed in this thread. Namely being ostracized by the organized player community.
And it was in reply to a post where you imply all rank 14 players are jerks. Which is pretty broad brush and not my personal experience.

As for the rest of your comment, yes I think editing an addon and hiding is underhanded and wrong. People spend a lot of time ranking and I meant everything I said. You can think what you want. You probably have no idea what you’re talking about anyway.

Wasn’t implying they’re all jerks just that they’re more likely to be the kind of jerk that’s way too obsessed with drama. It’s no secret that people that aim for Rank 14 tend to not have healthy lives outside of the game. Sure you can have nice people in that crowd but it’s far more likely to have the unhinged individuals that have no clue when they’re going too far.
We all know his comment wasn’t vague. He truly believes it’s okay to harass people into quitting the game. He hasn’t been subtle about this. People like that deserve to be banned.
If someone joins the bracket and abuses it then sure kick them out and blacklist them from anything you organize. That’s it. Don’t try to sabotage everything they do or mass report them to get them muted. That’s harassment and as adults you shouldn’t be so immature that you resort to such things over a video game.
If someone is doing it solo and is messing up your brackets then go kick rocks because you don’t get to tell them what they do. That’s a risk you’re supposed to accept when setting up brackets. If someone in your community tries to harass the person you should boot that person out of your community and blacklist them instead of coming up with excuses for them.

Yes I agree. (Although not about Moo, I don’t know the guy but he’s been civil enough here that I think you are misjudging him.) Mass reporting, for example, is harassment and not acceptable. The whinging in this thread has been about stuff that isn’t harassment. My favorite was the complaint about being inspected in Darnassus.

Nobody is disagreeing. But the argument, is something I know you read on some past threads where people were admitting to doing this themselves, is about when it’s extended to BEYOND the premade. To where it’s not just making sure they don’t get to play with your premade group, which is perfectly OK, but then making sure that they’re not allowed in their raiding guild anymore or any guild on the server just because you now have this personal vendetta against them.

after months of harassment from the mafia i made a deal with your bracket leaders, your side broke the deal, now you try and make a deal again, i say it will be on my terms not yours, and that makes you mad because im not doing whatever you say after you all treat me like trash over and over. your in the wrong here

Thing is, no one is forcing you to be a part of the bracketing community. You are free to play as you want. Go ahead, find 15-20 people minded like you are. Just tell them in advance they will have to play 20 hours a day every for 4 months and see how many will actually jump on your train.

I wasn’t talking about staking though? I am talking about blacklisting. And I am not part of any brackets, my server’s faction is too small to support them. But I would support them If i could because queueing for 20 hours a day blows.
Wouldn’t it be great if that’s how it actually worked in the game though? But the reality is it doesn’t. Either follow what the bracket community says or be gkicked from your PvE guild that’s run by a leader who never steps foot in a BG. The problem is when it extends BEYOND the bracketing community and the people are now causing the rest of the game to be unplayable to the person who never even asked to be part of your community, you just expect every single player in the game to follow your rules.
And we’re talking about the people who admit that if you break their brackets they’ll actually do all of that, going out of their way to make the entire rest of the game unplayable for you. THAT is what’s pathetic. It’s a HUGE difference from just not letting them be a part of your premade group anymroe.

Being blacklisted form raids and guilds for antisocial behavior isn’t harassment though. No matter how much you want it to be. The game isn’t compartmentalized into PvP and PvE, they are the same players. And if you’re anti social towards those players, they have the right to not play with anyone…and suggest others not play with them either.

Who is forcing guild members to do anything? How does a group of pvp’s have any power over some other guild’s GM/Officers? Being blacklisted isnt punishing? You don’t understand what is really going on.
A group of PvPers isn’t some sort of super secret Illuminati cabal that are pulling the strings with secret power…it doesn’t work like that. What IS going on however, is a group of people showing evidence of antisocial behavior to others, and then suggesting they don’t play with them.
