Meh; waste of resources. They could never outdo ESO or probably even FFXIV for the matter. That market is filled for the RPers of ESO/FFXIV.
Lol Iâm sure Iâll join them butâŚ
You ignore everyone who disagrees with you?
Blizzard needs to take more risk instead of playing it safe. Every expac bleeds more players and burn out is becoming real. The problem is that a lot of the community do not want to risk their comfort zone and the devs refuse to take risks that the competition is willing to take. Blizzard needs to invest in the social aspect of the game and drop things that have not been improving the game.
WoW has been on a downward slide because they take risks every single expansion. Every xpac post MoP theyâve tried reinventing the wheel. They add, change, and rip out entire systems and subsystems each time.
DF is the first safe expansion weâve had in a while.
Because the sims isnât a MMORPG. Plenty of MMORPGs have housing. Asking for a common MMORPG feature and having someone say âplay this unrelated game of a different genreâ is silly.
Like, if you want to play difficult dungeons, go play Killing Floor.
If you want instanced PVP, go play fortnite.
This is a common genre of games with houses, not dungeon ladders.
(If you couldnât tell, my suggestions were insincere, because this is a diverse game. Itâs just how dumb you guys sound. )
Itâs also the most innovative one.
We will never get proper player housing:
- housing is not part of power progression
- housing needs to be supported with every new patch with new items and locations
- housing gives players too much freedom, and freedom is toxic and will be exploited to advertise goldselling (if we use skeletons logic). People will draw âbadâ pictures with items and blizzard canât allow it
- once you added housing - you canât just forget about it in next expansion like blizzard does with ALL mechanics/systems/locations
- It will cost more than zero dollars to create, when alternative is simply to not do it and lose nothing
Even to monetize housing - will require a lot of work, making all unique house models and items to put into store, why risk.
This seems a bite extreme in assumption. By this definition then why even create a game.
So if plenty yof MMORPGS have housing what are you doing wasting your time here?
Those games are waiting for you
Theyâre not the game Iâm playing right now, nor are they the ones Iâm requesting a feature for.
Donât misunderstand, Iâm not here solely looking to play with housing. Nobody is here paying a subscription to this game just to wait for a single feature it doesnât have. Weâre requesting an additional feature that very many of us would enjoy.
I donât believe youâre as dense as you come off with that reply, so perhaps youâre just trolling and nothing more. Because itâd be silly to assume Iâm just looking for an exclusive housing simulator on the forums of a game that require a subscription to post on. But in the event that you are, weâre looking for an additional feature in World of Warcraft.
Cheers.
I think Blizz needs to understand many of us would be happy if Player Housing was a long term project and not something theyâd need to dedicate an entire season to within the span of a few months.
but we dont
I think itâs dense to demand housing in a game thatâs focus is not on playing house.
Especially since they already attempted it to appease you demanding types but it wasnât good enough because what? You couldnât pick out the armchairs in your inn?
Webkinz is still going, and hey you get a cute little stuffed animal to go with it.
Yes it isâŚMy last Harley was a 1984 FLHTC customâŚbody and part were stock âŚthey engine had been reworked to make it fasterâŚI tore her down too bare frame and reworked everything elseâŚHad it painted Pearl Purple and had it pinstriped by a professional during Daytona that yearâŚhad my helmet painted to match tooâŚher name was 12 Ball cause the purple looked like the color of a pool table 12 BallâŚ
Real WPVP opportunities would make me happy, but Iâm simply voting with my feet instead of raising my own Hades. I would have nothing to do after I ding 70 presently in DF, but I know it would take me 2-4 mos to tour the expansion? I can put that off for next year when the game goes officially live(as itâs probably still in full open beta).
This game doesnât have one single focus. But nice try with trolling. It just makes you come across as uninformed though.
As much as I would like player housing, we do have to realize that there is the potential that it will never be what you (any individual player including myself) want out of it, and it will fall short.
Sounds like Blizz understands the consequences of potentially alienating large chunks of players.
You donât speak for me.
Iâve been asking for housing since Wildstar.
Iâm sorry that you think anyone who disagrees with you is trolling.
Youâre welcome to disagree with me, but youâre not welcome to tell me where to go or what I should request. You do your thing, let me do mine, and weâre good.
