Grats. I’m getting close only 20k left on the mortgage!
Guild Halls would be nice
Gunship Guild halls.
With ramming capacity.
Honestly I think player housing should be a personal Galleon in the racial ship you desire. You get to personalize your crew, send them on missions, dock where you like, sail to unexplored islands, etc etc.
I mean we(as the characters) are basically generals or lords. We should have command of something if not a keep, at least a ship.
Pretty sure I have 3 ships in my Shipyard but never got the chance to go on any adventures with them. I think my crews and my bodyguards had more content then I did during Warlords.
For what? To wallow the sorrows of real life away and play house with a community in imaginary fairytale land? Nah. Thats bunk. Just buy a real house. It would serve you better.
oooh --thats me, over two years /played time with time in raids lucky to be 50 days of that . I do NOT want player housing . Doesnt belong in a game of exploring and killing stuff. plenty of games with that rubbish feature in them already , so go play one of those if you want it so badly .
As I said earlier , if blizard said that all we would have to give up is one new ore node to get player housing that would still be too high a price
I’m sure blizzard will totally listen to the 4 “casuals” that want player housing.
Why would it have to be one or the other? You are asking for people to support an idea that would remove a massive gameplay mechanic from the games inception: major patches revolve around raids and therefore storyline movement.
Player housing isn’t a major patch focus, though it would be a great .5 for example. Think if we got player housing instead of time rifts, I think more people would support that and it wouldn’t really take away from anyone’s chosen play style.
There’s been more than 4 people requesting it on this forum alone and way more on social media. Blizz has stated they are aware of demand and there has been work done on updating housing styles in the game files.
Now that could be them just updating the world, or them working on the idea of housing gradually. But it’s definitely way more than you are playing down.
Player housing can work and is very popular in Elder Scrolls Online. Housing is somewhat like a trophy room which records your progression. Think of housing as a visual version of achievements. It nice to have some kind of visual trophy of an achievement which housing can provide. It can also be a good income winner for Blizzard because they can put special player houses in the shop for sale.
No, it doesn’t need to be one or the or the other.
A blizz dev was the one that started the “it’ll cost you a raid tier” stuff.
But I’m just player so I have no idea if that is the case or not.
Adding old raids to the M+ playstyle would be adding more content for raids. No?
Raids are the focus of the storyline because the story was written to focus on the raid.
The story could have been written to focus on that time I was fishing and pulled in an ancient artifact that released a hellish demon on the world and now we must all band together and kill it (once per week of course, with a loot lockout ). Same thing happens when you are picking flowers and plant the right seed. So yea, just need to edit a few lines of the story to get there also.
Multiple people in an open world area cause lag? Nonsense. I hear the time rifts are working smooth as glass. Jagged broken glass. But still. I’m hearing great things about the way they’re operating.
