The M+/Raid players would like to strip WoW down to nothing more than a COD style lobby game.
WoW is two games under one title and it’s not working out for the MMO players or the lobby game players anymore.
Splitting the two games off to separate titles so the MMO players can have WoW the MMO and the lobby game players can have WoW the lobby game is going to happen. It’s just a matter of when not if at this point.
Im sure the role players would be all over housing too.
did you see in here early DF when raiders were tossing fits over having to run side quests to get to max level? lol.
Very upset that they couldnt just hit max by running the main questline.
It was quite a show. lol
Of course not. But Blizz is extremely unlikely to just take the hit on paying for it, and nobody wants a sub increase, so that’s what the most likely result will be.
Back in WoD the devs did joke about how it would cost them a raid tier to implement Garrisons. And even though that was a joke (hell, even with the whole “Ray D. Tear” joke they put somewhere in the Garrison being taken into account) WoD kinda proved that this was true since that expansion was extremely barebones from start to finish and only had two raid tiers, instead of the typical 3-4 an expansion gets. And, well… yeah, WoD wasn’t exactly a beloved expansion in most respects.
So yeah, people think it’s a zero sum game because WoD kinda proved that it was, in fact, a zero sum game.
