No need for a pristine server when all they need to do is equalize PvP gear and I’ll be fine with SL for the rest of the expac and every expac that comes after; spamming rando bgs.

Would you have to create a new account to use the fresh server? If not, then what would happen to your account-bound inventory? I’m trying to figure out how this would work.
they aren’t going to do this - too expensive to do. This was an alternative to providing classic not intended as an addition to classic. You want this go play classic.
Really isn’t something they can do on retail since the design focus is entirely weighted at the end and all of the content getting there has been trivialized over the years, especially with the level squish.
Pristine servers work in games/expansions where a large part of enjoying the game was also the journey…not so much when everything that came before is no longer relevant not only from expansion to expansion, but now patch to patch as well.
One last question do we have the allied races we unlocked? I’d play this for sure. I really enjoy seasonal game play.

Yea as long as they can faction numbers so it doesn’t get out of hand server wise especially for wpvp.
Played a game that had these servers and its the most populated server in the game. It’s not perfect but has a lot of qol in that game because it used to be p2w.

I would definitely try it out yeah. Probably would re-level my paladin there, or try a completely different class. PvP server like that would be a blast. It’d be an interesting experiment, if old style server community can mesh with retail content. But they’d need to control faction balance. Everyone would go to the horde side otherwise.
But classic had more than just a start over appeal. If they can afford to do that without affecting prices on things go for it.
I’m always for more options, but I do agree that I don’t think it will fix a thing. Carry sales will still exist there. Anything to fix that should be implemented in regular retail.
