If the Zombie event remains as is, we need compensation

That is nice to know for next time.

No problem, found this out while in the process.

This is a fun temporary event. I’ve been playing every day and only became a zombie maybe 4 times. To be honest, this event is mild.

My claims are about as credible as anyone claiming this event is terrible and ruining everything, cancelling each other out. Meaning, nothing should be changed lol and the event is apparently fine.

Imagine Blizzard changing the way the event works to appease people like you… Then you still complain… No troll… I just think it’s ridiculous… We’re in the last week of an expansion… You’ve had months to do your raiding and such… There is literally nothing else to do in this expansion… The event is IT… I said it in my post and I’ll say it again… All the people complaining didn’t want an interactive event, they wanted a few quests in the same area so they can just call it done. This event hasn’t been around for YEARS. You may never be able to experience it again… ever… I’m just saying… Embrace it… Enjoy it… Don’t be a Karen of the warcraft universe.

“im the LAST person that would do exactly what im doing right now!”

I need compensation for wasting my time reading this post.

maybe its a problem because they need a computer upgrade? my fiancee is having troubles with the zombies but he also has a very old computer.

I agree, this event is making the game unplayable for people. my low level toons can’t even log in to quest because they get killed or the NPCs they need are dead. This is insane. They move all the teleport hubs to the main cities, then they make the city a PVP zone. they say stay out of the main cities, but this even is affecting all the cities lower level players go to and is impacting how higher level players can play.

This is not hyperbole, at least not entirely. Overall, this is a quality game, but for the life of me, I don’t understand their priority system for dishing out deference.

There are infinite possibilities for improving world pvp so that those who love world pvp can never get too much of it, but instead they make people who don’t want world pvp (either at the moment or not at all) choose between 15% or more slower experience without griefing or more better xp rates with griefing.

And yes, for the most part, when you’re questing/leveling, any pvp is more likely to be griefing than it is to be a contest between equally matched opponents.

I know that most people leveling don’t want pvp because they never attack. It’s always someone much higher level or some small pack–a situation where there’s not risk to them.

And I’ve already heard all the explanations. When you cut through all the rhetoric and BS, what you’re left with is that world PvP is really just griefing, and to keep it going, Blizz entices people into being griefed while they’re trying to quest by forcing them to level slower if they choose the option to avoid it.

Get rid of the 15% and 30% bonus. Instead, give me a few quest’s worth of xp every time another player opens up. They can figure out a way to make it so it’s not exploited.

Anyway, the scourge invasion thing is less annoying to me and less like griefing because it’s so temporary, but the point about Blizz supporting griefing (as opposed to evenly matched pvp) is spot on.

Ignoring the part where lots of people would be doing lots of things without the invasion, I agree that it’s something to do…so is hitting yourself in the face, but neither seem to be very productive. As a general rule, if you have to be forced to do something, it’s probably not much fun. Especially when there is nothing to be gained by doing it.

Also, saying something bad is good because it’s rare is so stupid it borders on delusion.

It’s not going to stop til Blizzard gets all that gold from gear repairs.

You do not need compensation, Maizou. And you are blowing things out of proportion. I have been in both places on multiple realms and never once run into this issue. If you’re running into this issue, it is an issue on your realm, not with the game or with the event. Perhaps work together with your friends to take down the ghouls infesting these areas as opposed to complaining about it.

No it does not. Being flagged and being in Warmode are two different things. At no point are you forced into Warmode. You are flagged in normal shards. Mounting up and flying away will present you with a 5 minute timer.

No one is breaking the game’s COC, and you flipping out in such a manner and claiming they are is ridiculous and hurts your case. People are using in-game mechanics and playing with game mechanics and you don’t like it. That’s not breaking the rules.

OP, you are correct, but it’s sad how many children cannot understand why forcing people to participate in this event is objectively a terrible decision. People on normal servers have already seen griefing at the Icecrown rares, and anyone who RPs on an RP server can tell you that it is literally impossible right now.

You cannot just tell someone to go play something else for a week when we are STILL PAYING THE SAME SUB and unable to play the game how we normally do. That’s great and all if it doesn’t affect you, but it is affecting plenty of us and it is extremely annoying. Blizz needs to give us a free week at minimum as compensation for this.

I’m not saying something is good because it’s rare. I’m saying that this event is something to do… Right? We had weeks to level up new toons. People got the raiding out of their system with Nyalotha. What could it possibly be interfering with? This is here for a week… Not a life time. I’m on Moon Guard and most of the role players are having fun with. Roleplaying as defenders of the city.

Is there such a thing as too much griefing? Yes… but the crates spawn on a timer. It comes in waves. This is fun… All the people that are complaining are complaining because they can’t AFK in SW for a week. The zombies are soooo easy to kill it’s mind numbing. I’m telling people to just have fun with it… You most likely don’t have anything more important to do in the game. When it comes to the AH… it’s not like there isn’t a mount with an auctioneer… it’s not like there isn’t a toy that summons a mailbox or hundreds around.

People that are mad are the types of people who love games like AFK wars or some stupid mobile game where they get rewarded for doing nothing. The zombie invasion is mindless fun. It was in WotLK and it is now.

The Zombies crashed BFA zones on Proudmoore. This really is Wrath 2.0.

EDIT: Apparently Stormwind is too.

I can login to my Horde on Zul Jin just fine, so it’s just Proudmoore.

Not intrested in pleasing some POS greifer on the other side of my pc! I haven’t played wow retail in years. I have 1 weekend left to gear up and see as much BFA I can before SL. It’s a stupid inconvenience with nobody to blame accept bad devs. If this game was free then their might be grounds for letting them troll their own playerbase but it’s not. It’s just bad decisions and makes me lose complete respect for the devs who can’t respect their own paying customer base that has no interest in empowering griefers. I’ll take my compensation now TY.

No, we don’t. It’s a week of flavor for an upcoming expansion at a time when the game is otherwise devoid of fresh content. What we need is for you to stop your QQing for two seconds and maybe just appreciate it for what it is.

Then you’d know that gameplay is subject to change at any moment. You agree to that when you click yes to the TOS/EULA. Just stay logged out until the 23rd… You’ll survive.
