I don’t force anyone to make replies on here.
Of course not, you couldn’t if you tried. No one forces you to do anything in game. Including playing it.
This is the way.
High five
If the two flight styles were the same speed…what would the point be of dynamic flight?
Actually, how would they even be the same speed? Dynamic flight doesn’t have one speed.
I’d still use dynamic because I like flying being more realistic/having more weight.
It’s actual flying and not air-swimming.
While I was doing Radiant Echoes 20-25% of the players used static flying, at least on my server.
TBC normal flying is better balanced being slower and more precise which is why it is fine as it is IMVHO.
How many of those have you observed using it to hover over the area and do nothing while collecting currency?
As many as there were players flying in circles on their dragonflying mounts.
I also agree: This is the Way.
Your post needs more likes.
People disagreeing with me are missing my point and I’m tired of drilling the point into them. They don’t do animation or game dev or 3D model and they’re trying to argue with me.
Let me spell it out: It will look bad. You cannot animate it. Period.
Moving at 700% speed laterally cannot be animated, there is no animation you can do, again, it will turn every flying mount into a UFO.
As if…
If TBC flying required you to actually press your buttons correctly to keep flying would you still use it?
If it had limited time to fly and required you to recharge your energies before you could fly again, would you still fly?
I’m sensing there’s an unspoken bias against Skyriding.
So every animation for you to move up and down or sideways is a jet stream blast? Because that’s what it would take. Modern day drones can’t even move that fast laterally.
I think you are in fantasy euphoric land, giggling at things you don’t understand. You’re also level 10. Go figure. Your response is 3 emotes and 4 letters, come on now, do better.
TBC was fine as a flying mechanic.
I personally still believe that Dragonflying was a waste of time in terms of feature development.
No, it wasn’t.
It was a broken mechanic that they added at the time and if they could change they would’ve introduced what we have as Skyriding today.
Great, you’re in the minority here. Enjoy TBC flying while it exists as it is.
It’s wonderful then that that mechanic is still available to you.
Still gana disagree there.
I don’t recall people having motion sickness when TBC introduced flying.
I AM indeed in a fantasy euphoric land. It’s called World of Warcraft.
Also I’m level 10 because you need a level 10 char on a trial account if you want to post on the US forums when your subscription is in EU.
Good to know, thanks for your useless input, welcome to mute land.
