I wouldn’t be able to use either except for long distances. My reflexes are just not what they used to be, and I can’t make the tight turns needed for some spaces at high speed.
There’s a Halt button you can use that makes you stop and float momentarily, maybe try that?
Default answer when you’ve run out of arguments.
Not really because a Harrier can’t do a lot of what a helicopter can do such as deliver a squad of soldiers to an area, extract them. extract wounded, move equipment, fish people out of the water, etc.
You have the right to be wrong, and I’m not the one that’s going to take that away from you.
That’s a straw man for this discussion.
So, the solution is to just stop. Doesn’t that negate the point of being able to fly quickly?
As much as the shot caller or devs reckon they can tell us how to play their game its we the players who decide otherwise.
Which is why Old flying is still an option to move around.
No, it doesn’t. Because I need to fly to Uld to do keys, which is by Stormwind, which I don’t have the portal for. Anymore nonsense questions?
Skyriding is a success, no one besides the 0,0001% is complaining.
The latest results from Q1 we have is 7,25 million subscribers.
Do you know how much relevant you are for that… 1,333333333333333e-7
The amount of people complaining about Skyriding is so low… that all you do is entertain other people here in the forums while we keep telling you that your pledge is irrelevant, and you’re wrong.
What?
Its at least Q3 right now.
My problem with old flying is that it is all the same speed, all the time. it feels feels off to me. No choice to go faster if I want, no choice to slow down as I want. I can’t go down into a dive and become a little torpedo, nor can I just coast along super slowly. With skyriding I can do both those things. I can choose how fast I want to fly, and alter my speed by my actions.
So no, even if they had the same max speed, I would not use old flying. I just find it unfun.
And what does it have to do with what you quoted.
Do you wanna elaborate?
That number would’ve changed.
If auto attacking did more dps than pressing abilities would anyone press abilities?
Depend how much they let their ego ride on it.
I thought one of the arguments against Dragonriding/Skyriding was it is too fast…
I’d say the majority of people would just auto attack if it provided the same dps. (Like 99% of the population would)
Gamers take the easiest path to their reward, doesn’t matter if path A is more fun, path B is easier so they’ll take it.
So yea, if static flight was equal to skyriding speed, I’d say pretty much everyone would dump skyriding.
So that would make you what, 0,000000001% more relevant?
Q1 was the last result that they have shared, they don’t release immediately after the quart ends, sometimes it takes even a whole quarter to share with the market.
Even if the numbers dropped to 4 million subscribers, you would still be totally irrelevant, as all the skyriding haters.
It means the figure you quoted is out of date.
Plus if I or others want to believe Skyriding was a waste of dev time then we will.
We won’t really know the whole story behind the development process for some years yet when we get to hear all the nitty gritty details.
Yes, I like how interactive it is and it feels better than sky swimming.
