If Collector's Edition owners get their pets, then let us have Murky

Those pets are directly tied to Vanilla, blizzcon is not.

except for the fact that there was a Blizzcon in Vanilla.

Which is a valid argument. I just don’t think it’s game breaking if they allow the single Murky to be awarded to those accounts, to take up a bag slot if they want. I just know that if I had one, I wouldn’t be offended if I couldn’t use it cause…it makes sense. If I had payed for CE? That would have been a bummer to not get it, as they would have been part of my experience. Allowing players to have THOSE literally is no changes.

If you look at the post I was replying to you can see the level of sarcasm a little easier.

You’re being facetious. You know damn well that CE pets were purchased OUTSIDE the game.

You’re being paranoid.

Wrong. You got a card which you could pass on.

I understand the desire for Murky. But in Classic he was a one-character only pet whereas the collectors edition ones were account wide.

It’d be nice if Blizzard let you redeem him, but I seriously doubt it. Maybe we’ll see it as a virtual reward for the next Blizzcon for classic only?

Starman, I don’t know why you’re drawing these arbitrary lines. It’s not paranoia, it’s pattern recognition.

the codes were one shot.

It’s very simple - if Blizzard wanted to do it, they would have. If you want to be paranoid, go right ahead.

I still have my Murky card.

unscratched? Dude sell that and buy yourself a brand new Geo Metro! or a Ford Focus!

Oh, no, it’s scratched.

It’s very simple, I’m not paranoid.

If you want to draw arbitrary dividing lines, go right ahead.

My stance is to let all retail pets come to Classic, doesn’t bother me.

This sounds like a massive contradiction.

You think the lines are blurred, but don’t care about retail pets?

I’m not drawing lines.

Where did I say you were?

You tried to point out a contradiction.

Only based on what you’re worried about vs. what you care about.
