What cash revenue?
Please quote where I said or implied that. I mean it, pets? ZERO care. Let everyone have all the pets, it makes no difference to me.
But if you want to tango, I’m game, what other items will be able to redeem twice? Hopefully game card codes!
If you wanna set the tone for over exaggeration expect replies to follow suit.
Bring non vanilla pets into Classic is a pretty big exaggeration.
but it shows they aren’t linking the two like you are fearing they are. If they actually made noise past CE pets, and possibly card pets, then you would have something, but with what they have clearly laid out, CE pets are as far as they are going.
but none of those were in Vanilla, CE pets and Murky were.
You have a really hard time tracking during arguments. You didn’t exaggerate, you built a straw man to argue against because you assumed I was talking about CE pets, when I wasn’t.
On top of that you were wrong on the stance that CE pets aren’t from retail. They are from retail.
Can’t wait for your next reply, we can go back and forth until Classic launches. Be quicker this time, I’m getting bored.
Your words, not mine
Bringing none vanilla pets from retail. Oh, unless you mean only the vanilla ones from retail. In that case, na, gotta re-earn them again.
I’m confused by what you’re saying, because…yes they are. They were bought for retail WoW. They are attached to retail WoW. Now they’re being linked to Classic. People not seeing the harm in that are purposefully being ignorant.
Am I being paranoid? There’s certainly a fair amount of paranoia, but there’s equal parts learning from history.
Is English not your first language? I don’t understand the point you’re trying to make.
and them being available in Classic is no different than getting a flag or a skin in OW or Diablo.
They are clearly not adding mounts to Classic(my above example reinforces it), nor anything that is account bound gear in Current.
Your account is flagged, dude. We went over this and over this and over this.
My account is flagged for all kinds of things…for Current WoW. I’ve acquired nothing for Classic. Neither have you, or anyone.
I actually have - my CE pets. Isn’t that awesome?
And possibly more things to come! Isn’t that exciting thinking about what things we might get from retail on Classic?!
And that’s one of the flaws in this decision. It sends a clear message to players, and they’ll pick up on that and react.
possibly based on what? They’ve already stated about transmog, and recently mounts, though given this decision, CE mounts for the expansion they are in could be a thing, but I doubt they go that far with Classic servers.
Well to be fair Blizzard has stated one thing and done another, so I really feel like technically it could be anything.
It’s just exciting to think about the possibilities!
I would of disagreed with you yesterday but the way things have rolled out today…I understand why people have been so critical.
except this time the things I mentioned they have stated very definitely how it is going to work. They are not allowing mounts or gear, or anything other than CE pets.
Imagine how much people will flip if the next CE for game include a digital goody for Classic WoW too, even after they have offered digital goodies for all their games.
Definitely! As far as we know right now.
So, the logic of allowing the CE pets in go like this:
The player, back when vanilla was all there was, opted to pay extra, real life money because they wanted these cosmetic items. They do not break the game in any way, and they paid for them to be used IN VANILLA. I’d argue the same logic COULD be applied to Murky, as you did, in fact, pay a large sum for this pet. However, Murky wasn’t a choice. If you went, you got it. Either way is fine by me, however. Past real money investments made at the time of vanilla, no.
