If Collector's Edition owners get their pets, then let us have Murky

it definitely has a “favorite child syndrome” feeling to it, and that sucks. Murky belongs in classic and was THE iconic pet of vanilla.

To include the vanilla CE pets but tell Murky owners nothing at all, or they aren’t as worthy just simply is unfair.

This isn’t like TCG; Murky and the vanilla CE were iconic pets of vanilla and both belong in classic if one is in.

Blizzard’s prolonged silence on this issue is disheartening and terribly wrong.

There’s no justification for letting vanilla CE pets in, but Murky being left out when Murky is THE iconic vanilla pet.

The should be no Pandaran! That wasn’t classic, and didn’t come with the original collectors edition. Keep it pure!

I don’t think you understand? Murky is no pandaran. Murky is the murloc pet FROM VANILLA Blizzcon.

He was part of vanilla, he IS not a change (in fact, leaving him out is the change) is exceedingly rare to begin with so it isn’t like it’s hurting anyone not to have him, and again he was THE iconic pet of vanilla.

Vanilla CE pets got in, but Murky didn’t? That’s some grade A BS and blizzard needs to respond to this thread, as there are dozens more like it and we need an answer for why or why not Murky?

It is unfair to include the vanilla CE pets, but tell Murky owners to kick rocks. it is literally the definition of favorite child syndrome.

The silence is also infuriating/frustrating/disheartening because i KNOW they’ve seen this thread and the others like it and just kinda ignore it. QUIT IGNORING MURKY OWNERS AND LET HIM IN BLIZZ! or at least have the guts to tell us why vanilla CE pets, but not Murky?

No I was responding to someone saying they were looking forward to their little Pandaran pet. Murky is fine IMO - he was in Vanilla. That’s the only baseline.

Oh ok i misunderstood. I apologize my friend. Forgive me, it’s a bad habit from this thread because we’ve seen the “but my panda!” or “but my TCG!” so many times its like a broken record

Panda pet, not Pandaren pet :O)

The OG CE pets were Mini Diablo, Zergling, and a Panda.

Well holy cow, I forgot. I only ever run the Mini-Diablo. Thanks for the correction!

I forgot about the baby panda too. I always remember mini Diablo, Zergling, and Murky but the panda cub always kinda slips my memory too!

The silence is the worst part. There are half a dozen threads about Murky and the CE pets. We know blizz has seen them :frowning:

Murky belongs in just as much as the vanilla CE pets, they were both from classic, and Murky is arguably THE iconic vanilla Pet.

Blizzard, PLZ end the silence and let Murky into classic again like vanilla. To not allow him IS a change to vanilla.

Now I’m not in the know either way, but I honestly think you can safely assume Murky will make it in as it was in Vanilla, and authenticity is their baseline.

They came out and said the vanilla CE pets would be in for those who have him, but complete radio silence on the Murky issue.

Murky is THE iconic vanilla pet, and was as much a part of vanilla as the vanilla CE pets were. You could argue more so since it was a blizzcon pet and those who went in 05, really are the most devoted of fans.

There is no logical reason to allow vanilla CE pets in, but leave Murky owners high and dry.

The silence on Blizzard’s part is probably the most frustrating part.

This thread is almost at 400 posts. There are at least a dozen other posts about this very topic, and more will pop up until they confirm Murky is in to those who have him.

He was in vanilla, and belongs in classic too as much as anyone.

This is dumb

Honestly I don’t care that CE’s are getting the pets. Each pet is a bag slot and to that end it is taking up space for my reagents, potions, crafting mats, OS gear or even quest items. Classic is back when pets took up a bag slot and there is a lot of other things that can occupy that space

Murky can take up 10 bag spaces for all i care, but he belongs in Classic.

Murky was a part of vanilla, and was arguably THE iconic vanilla pet.

to leave him out is changing classic for the worse, but to leave him out and include the vanilla CE pets is blizzard playing favorite child.

Far as I know, you all already have your pets. I was hoping Classic wouldn’t do any of this kind of stuff and let us start over. Or start for some of us.
