If Collector's Edition owners get their pets, then let us have Murky

Secondly, what if i still have the Murky card? (I do) What then? Would the code say invalid, used, or no option at all to even turn it in?

Blizz really just needs to come out and say Murky is in for those with him, just like with the vanilla CE pets. There’s no reason not to include him, and to leave him out while allowing the vanilla CE pets is playing favorites, and just not fair or right. I’d argue Murky belongs in just as much as the vanilla CE pets, if not more.

Then I want my polar-bear blizzcon mount.

It wasn’t from vanilla was it? Quit being childish and selfish.

When they do WOTLK servers, i’ll be all about you getting the polar bear and Grunty.

This is about VANILLA. In vanilla, only the vanilla CE pets and Murky were obtainable out of game.

ps - congrats on that mount, i always wanted it. It doesn’t belong in classic like Murky does, but still an awesome mount.

ha fair enough troll.

I do luv your mount though and always wanted it. When WOTLK servers come out, i’ll be fighting for you to have grunty and the bear.

This isn’t that time though, this is about classic. In classic, Murky was there and he belongs back in round 2. They already put the vanilla CE pets in, Murky needs to be included for those of us with him as well.

There is no reason at all why not.

Hell, they could even use him to set up the 15th anniversary pet for blizzcon this year… Old Man Murky. Where he’s Murky, but with a cane and beard and who’s back gives out halfway through his dance routine.

Give us Murky owners Murky in Classic Blizzard but maybe toss Old Man Murky out at blizzcon this year or next for others.

Me no troll And I don’t really care for pets. I’m neutral on this but I’m not against it.

It isn’t a strawman. It’s a slippery slope…

Nothing is slippery about any of this.

Murky was from blizzcon number 1. He was a part of vanilla wow since nearly the beginning. The vanilla CE pets are in wow classic, Murky should be as well.

We aren’t asking for anything to be added TO classic that doesn’t belong. Murky is in the code, his vendor is IN THE GAME in capital cities. There’s no reason, other than “I don’t have him” that anyone could be against letting Murky into wow Classic, especially since the vanilla CE pets are in now.

We aren’t asking for QoL or Raid finder or any slippery slope argument. To call it a strawman argument was putting it kindly. There is no reason at all that Murky shouldn’t be in WoW classic to those who have him. None at all.

Give me a reason why Murky should be left out but the vanilla CE pets left in?

Unless I am mistaken, the actual TCG in game items did not exist in vanilla. I believe they were implemented with the TBC pre-patch.

If the TCG in game items were added in the TBC pre-patch and were not even in the game during vanilla, how could anyone have had those in game items during vanilla?

As an owner of TCG items, they were NOT added in vanilla and came during TBC pre patch.

The people who are asking for those, and later blizzcon items, are not getting it at all and just come off a bit selfish.

Yes, Murky owners may be a bit selfish in wanting the little guy too (i won’t deny i want him in classic) at least Murky and the Vanilla CE were part of the vanilla experience, and the vanilla CE pets were confirmed to be in it for the accounts who have it… and since murky is account bound as well, there is NO REASON at all murky shouldn’t be in classic for those with him.

TCG items don’t belong, as much as i’d love to ride my spectral tiger, it just wasn’t vanilla.

There is one difference between the CE pets and Murky were implemented during vanilla that you seem to be omitting.

The CE pets applied to the entire account and every character on that account received one of those three pets.

Murky was not account wide and could redeemed on only one character.

Murky is account bound now though, which makes it a moot point.

Secondly, i still have my Murky card and i’m looking right at it. Does that mean i’d get to use it’s code again for Murky since it’s “Untouched” on classic?

This is why Blizz needs to come out and just say “Murky is in classic for those who have him now” and just end all this confusion.

Imagine if the codes for Murky do work and act like they are untouched; there will be a eBay market exploding for the lil guy and that isn’t right IMHO. I may want my Murky in classic, but i don’t want to see the old codes become an eBay bloodbath either ya know?

Yah I know we said all of this, but after that poster above made that claim that he was able to get the Heroes of azeroth loot before the pre-patch (it did release in October),i looked into it and did not find anything definitive either way.

Yea, as much as i’d selfishly like my TCG items; they don’t belong in classic.

Murky does, however. Blizzard, break the silence on Murky please! The vanilla CE owners got they’re pets again, Murky owners should as well.

Blizz needs to really see this and respond. The silence is troubling on this topic. It’s either flown under the radar, or they are silent because they won’t do it :frowning:

If you get Murky i’d like all my tcg stuff please!

You are trolling and not understanding the issue.

MURKY was from Vanilla like the vanilla CE pets that Blizz already gave to the vanilla CE owners. Murky is account bound.

Murky was part of the vanilla experience and should see classic for people with him on their account.

TCG items weren’t introduced until the pre TBC patch, and i say that as someone who likely has better TCG items than you do… but they don’t belong in Classic. It’s just selfish greed.

Murky, however, DOES belong. He’s in the vanilla code, and his vendors are already in the capital cities. No reason at all to not include him.

TCG don’t belong; MURKY does.
