That’s out of the question now that Blizzard confirmed collector’s edition owners get their pets and that there won’t be an in-game shop. Would make no sense to charge for Murky but not the collector’s pets.
They might do another CE (hopefully)
They did a CE, it offered mounts for the BFA servers.
Murky is from the first Blizzcon, was part of Vanilla, and deserves to be pet from Classic.
It’s rare, and there aren’t that many of us left with the lil guy so i’m afraid Blizz may have just kinda forgotten about us and this thread and others don’t get seen.
i’m really hoping my Murky can join me like the CE pet owners have since both are original parts of vanilla experience from the beginning, it would really suck otherwise. He’s my favorite pet, and wants to be part of Classic too.
Plz Blizz, give us some help.
#ClassicMurky
i also went to 09. And like i said, i don’t fly so i drove from NC to CA both times so Murky is very sentimental to me for obvious reasons.
He was part of Vanilla, deserves to be part of Classic, and i’m really hopeful Blizz will somehow see this thread and let us know he’ll join for classic, like the CE pets, for lucky Murky owners. Plz Blizz
#ClassicMurky
#ClassicMurky
I say this is fair.
#ClassicMurky Come on blizz, end this silence and give Murky players the lil guy in classic too! He belongs there every bit as much as the Vanilla CE pets. If the vanilla CE pets got in, Murky belongs in too. Period.
it’s more than fair, it’s right. not having Murky in classic will feel wrong since he was every bit as part of vanilla as the CE pets.
As a suggestion though, not only should Murky be in Classic; but maybe for blizzcon 2019 or 2020 they could introduce a new pet “Old Man Murky” which is a murky, remodeled with a beard, who gets back problems and grumbles half way through his dance number.
Yes, and I attended! Hence, this is why Murky should attend Classic!
#ClassicMurky
Same. I attended 2009 too, and both times i drove across the country. Would really mean a lot if Blizz would let us know about Murky, and allow him into Classic since he belongs.
Someone said they saw a murky or the vendor on stream, but i haven’t seen any confirmation and it’s getting to the point where the silence is a bit scary. I hope Blizz hasn’t overlooked us since we are such a small population of WOW players.
The only way we’ll get their attention is to keep posting and pushing the topic to the forefront. Good luck! Keep it up, and fingers crossed we can put this issue to rest with positive news.
Nice to see some support in this thread. I feel a lot of people don’t really care because it doesn’t affect them but us Murky owners care!
Murky owners care! <3
#ClassicMurky
#ClassicMurky We fellow Murky owners care and have your back. I don’t suspect a lot of the community to be supportive since this affects like .01% of WOW population, but Blizzard’s silence here is scary. They could come out and simply confirm this, like the vanilla CE pets, at any time and Murky is tied to the account so it isn’t like they’d have to do anything.
Murky also belongs in Classic/Vanilla WoW just as much as the vanilla CE pets do, more so even IMHO.
There isn’t a single good reason for him to be left out at all.
We have to keep posting and pushing this issue, or it will just get swept under the rug and ignored. Never stop posting and fighting for #ClassicMurky!
Plz Blizz, do what’s right and put Murky in WoW classic too for those who have him.
Yep, and i want to see original trading card code vendors in booty bay so i can get all the items that were in vanilla.
With out an achievement prove you have a murky pet. Key are not tied to your account like the CE is so your key will not work.
Read what a poster wrote above, basically the vendor was never in 1.1-1.12, the game came out during that time, and not sure if there was a way before the vendor in BB was in game to redeem with just putting in the code on the website or not.
The codes were redeemed much the same way, simple thing to see if an account had the flag for the pet in Vanilla.
Murky is a feat of strength, and it’s tied to the account. My account is flagged for Murky. I can make any toon i want and have the lil’ guy.
I have TBC TCG items, including the spectral tiger. NONE Of them were from vanilla, they started with the pre tbc patch.
They don’t belong in classic as much as i’d selfishly want my spectral tiger.
The vanilla CE pets, and Murky are the only two exceptions that should be allowed. They were both part of vanilla from the beginning on, and both belong.
demands for TCG items are just selfish greed, and not understanding the issue/question being asked.
MURKY was part of vanilla WoW just like the vanilla CE pets. MURKY is tied to accounts now. MURKY belongs in classic as much as the vanilla CE pets, if not more.
