If Blizz lost 70% of it's customers

They haven’t lost 70% but they did lose almost 60% in WoD. They didn’t care and just kept on like nothing happened. It was right after that they switched their metrics and quit publishing sub numbers.

They really don’t care and will just keep doing their own thing.

they would still have 30

Even if WoW lost that many players, they would still be the biggest subscription based MMO on the market.
It’s unlikely there will ever be that many subs lost at any point as the popularity of the game while waning is still high.

They have lost 70% of their player base. 10+ million in WotLK and I’m confident we’re below 3 million now.

They will continue doing the same thing they’re doing now… try to slow down the decline while supplementing the loss of subs with cash shop.

Lol no they won’t. They’ll just cry till the end of time about it and still play.

you really are out of touch with most of the wow community.

And youre over exaggerating the vocal minority. If anything, the game would probably be better off if they left at this rate.

that would be people like you on the forums.

Ill be praying that she dies a hilariously inglorious death.

This is all fantasy, you have zero idea what the subscription numbers are for wow

They already have. Take a peek at BC sub numbers.

They would just continue to add things to buy to try to make up for the difference until that method won’t pay the bills.

This whole thread is fantasy, nobody has any numbers or can predict what they are going to be going forward.

70% of blizzard’s customers weren’t playing wow to begin with

Good. Glad you’re in agreement with me.

they lost over 50% in very short order in WoD.

i hope the numbers keep going down way down and they eventually decide maybe we need to make a new game altogether and put effort in again. and hopefully wow dies off if they actually invent something new that’s worth a crap. wow is old and boring after almost 20 yrs i mean come on something new and great again and leave wow to rot with the rest of the mmo’s with thousands playing.

looks to see what they’re doing literally right now

Uh, that, I guess.

What would you do if 70% of your customers left?

Try and find more things to sell to the remaining 30%
