If BGs are going to reward premades pubstombing PUGs

Did you play on the private servers? Specifically, did you play on any of the large ones?

The games were anything but fair.

The queue system is to put balance in terms of numbers, nothing else. Hence why theres no matchmaking until bc

Umm… no it was always to create balanced matches…

Hence why brackets, hence why making sure the numbers were even at the start. Matching premade vs premade is just an extension of that.

It’s actually pretty sad how afraid premades are of having to fight other premades.

IF there are a bunch of pre-mades farming PuGs, stop queueing, go do something else for a couple hours/days . Whatever you do, do NOT feed them free honor!

Fortunately with CRBG’s we can just lose fast and hope the next game isn’t against a premade :stuck_out_tongue:

But … but… but… that might be hard…

but guys, are u telling me we have to actaully fight OTHER PREMADES?? OMG! HOW ARE WE EVER GONNA WIN WHEN WE CANT STOMP A PUG!!

welcome to wow for the past 15 years captain obvious.

You must be new to classic. It’s a dead horse you are trying to beat and these things have a flow chart. If a top pre-made face another they sand bag and win trade but that’s not likely since they queue dodge anyways.

allow me to translate;

“hi i’m Trystan im from seattle i sip starbucks from a paper cup no straws here! oh and vote bernie 2020”

Sure unless they nip the queue dodging in the bud. Which queue as a group join as a group does.

Blizzard needs to improve on that part.

It’s kinda lame when the gates open and one team is still missing players.

We tried to rig these random teams for easier wins! We should be rewarded for that!

While i was leveling I always enjoyed a good 1v1 fight when the opportunity presented.
But sometimes the other player wouldn’t even fight back.

I’d ussually end up backing off and letting them live if they just stood there, because what i wanted was a fun 1v1 and really get no enjoyment out of killing someone who just stands there.

Most competitive games feature match making. An organised group always has an advantage over a random selection of players.

Bgs are always what ive enjoyed the most in wow, and ussually just solo Q on retail. I’m fine with the RNG chance of a pug group getting matched against a premade.

But Q dodging seems cowardly. Fearful of actually having to compete(or lose) against a similar organized group?
But i also get that if it’s allowed in the game, even if it’s not how it was intended to be, there will always be try-hards who take advantage of it.

If i’m in a pug group that get matched against a premade, im still going to go into the game with the mindset of trying my best to win. If it gets to the point of being graveyard camped, then I will stop feeding the honor.

If it’s 0-2 and we are just losing, but not getting stomped on I will still keep fighting to win. Or at the very least try to find some stragglers to fight against, and avoid the bigger group.

At what point do you just kill yourself?

Don’t worry about premades.

There are going to be three kinds of groups in battlegrounds.

  1. Completely solo que randoms.
  2. Pug premades of people who never played with each other before.
  3. Legit premades. People who are in the same guild or have played with each other a long time and will continue to play with one another long term.

OF these three groups. #1 is going to have the highest participation rate. #2 will have high participation rate as well. #3 will have the lowest participation rate.

You will face against premades as a pug, but it’s not going to be frequent enough for you to worry about it.

i ran with pre-made groups in vanilla, all the same things that happened in vanilla happened on the private servers and will happen on classic. there is no reason to make a huge thread about it. just play the game.

most pre-mades are not afraid to play other pre-mades either, they are just looking for fast wins for the most possible honor. fighting against pre-mades is the worst possible honor per hour there is which is why pre-mades don’t want to do it. before x-realm bgs in vanilla the pvp groups on my server even made an agreement that they would play seriously to see who gets the first flag then that team would be allowed to 3cap, that way you didnt end up with an hour long game.
