Oh its national, its because making jokes about a countries leader is considered “National hatred”
Would need to find the more indepth one as this is more just for customers… trying to find the full legal document, may need abit.
uhh so yeah man that football player who got arrested? totally a hoax, so is globe earth man!
Compared American made game to putin’s Russia which is practically a dictator who puts bans on certain media to make sure his people aren’t educated enough to know the world is better outside of Russia. Jokes are illegal in Russia if they are about Putin, yes. That’s Russia. We are talking about a video game.
so dont say
then try to say
You can make all the jokes you want about our President, but when those jokes cross the line into threatening physical harm, even if that isn’t the intention, expect the secret service at your door.
Im talking about the united states. And yeah talking about a bomb joke or not, inside a airport is going to get you arrested for a few hours because it scares a lot of people.
oh irl sure yeah, i thought we were talking ingame cause you asked to see the “no-politics rule”
quick tip the united states is not the world, so dont say “world” when you really just mean one small section of it.
and again if you make a “joke” about anything dangerous, they very much will arrest you, examples above. and you dont even need to be in the airport, you can say it on twitter.
I literally bought the entire world yesterday, I am the richest person ever.
When i mean world i mean a bag of carrots, and when i mean richest i mean mediocre, and when i say person i mean husk, and when i say ever, i mean never.
Not inherently. But reddit is about the same caliber as twitter. Niether is worth much on its own.
Exactly. Reddit needs to be sourcing something else that is actually legitimate for any chance that the following discussion could be taken seriously.
Reddit is a heavily moderated platform where the mods are found to be ideological extremists that frequently manipulate their own rule sets to push agendas and seek revenue. The result is quite often an echo chamber with no diversity of thought or reasonable discussion carried out by people with such limited life experience and world view that they are blinded by their own ignorance.
Considering reddit to be anything close to a reliable source or place of debate and discussion is absolutely hilarious.
us.forums.blizzard.com
U.S. Forums
United States
Your arguments would have merit in the EU forums where they don’t have freedom of speech and actually get arrested for jokes and thought crimes.
because I said real world you are going to assume im referring to the whole world. Obviously referring to the united states where media isn’t policed by a dictator who cant handle memes. Done with this acne infested kid who bases opinions off subreddit. Good luck trying to convince an ignorant mouth breather.
-
yes i agree, i do not look at stuff and right away assume its true without evidance, why i want people to show me the claims they are making why “blizz lied to us” on how it works.
-
as i said, if i could post i would have posted the articles, or you could just reverse google search them, or literlaly just search “arrested for joke” and find LOTS
-
eh thats abit too conspiracy theory for me, as really something as neutral as getting arrested for jokes, what is that… The right? the left? Who is the one “manipulating” it?
Try scrolling up…
What…are …you…even…talking…about?
You don’t seem to be able to keep up with all of the posts you are replying to. Anyway, stick around and actually read what Switzy is posting. You might learn something. Seriously, dude is pretty spot on in this thread and I don’t have the patience today so I’m out.
You seem like a decent person, just a kid that really doesn’t understand what you are trying to discuss, and thats fine. Everyone starts out like that. Just be honest enough with yourself to admit and you might really gain some knowledge.
ooooh thats what you mean by thought crime, didn’t the US just have a major sting of thought crime, where they got some guys on the “intent” but never actually went and did…
and nah, in the US you have far less freedom of speech then you really think you do, and the US is prob the best, but still not as perfect as people seem to put it up on a pedestal for.
Im up in canada, and yeah you can get in trouble for some pretty minor stuff up here.
Twitter joke to ‘destroy America’ gets two Brits deported from U.S.
example of two brits making a joke on twitter getting arrested, held with illegals, and then deported
and yeah as you go down you can see more.
Didn’t think we had to explain that but gotta make sure everyone is extremely specific when talking to a subreddit user or they pick your words apart and tell you “facts” about stuff they hear on reddit and what Russia is like. I don’t live in Russia. Most people who play wow don’t live in Russia. The people who DDoS realms, when expansions come out, are from Russia.
idk i may just be missing a ton, i spent the last 18 hours editing, im hopped up on a load of coffee and waiting to get response back.
i was responding to you saying tyhat the reddit mods seem to manipulate their subreddits.
also i guess canadian speaking to american about all this stuff is not the easiest, cause laws are very different for example jokes are much more likely to get you arrested up here.
also is there a post in particular that shows the “blizz lied to us”
i literally dont have an account… I literally googled and it popped up, why it was edited in…
also i love how you use reddit user as an insult?
as if being a wow forum user is somehow better?
Talking about the pedo bust in GA? If so, no. They were all arrested for multiple crimes. You have to actually read the statute of the law itself to understand what it means. Did you do that?
It is an insult. Hold yourself to a higher standard by improving the company you keep =)
The Star Wars subreddit is a good example. When The Last Jedi received a hefty amount of backlash, which trended into idealogical arguments because of the nature of the movie, mods removed the negative posts. A new subreddit had to be made to accommodate those who wanted to discuss the movie (r/saltierthanCrait).
